A Survey On The Application Of Video Materials In Online Elementary Chinese Comprehensive Courses

As a kind of digital international Chinese language teaching resources,video materials which is different from traditional teaching resources play a unique role in international Chinese language teaching,especially in the current popular online international Chinese language teaching.The elementary Chinese comprehensive course is the core course in international Chinese language education.Nowadays,it is necessary to explore how to improve the efficiency of online teaching by using video materials.This paper focuses on the online teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses,and takes international Chinese teachers and Chinese learners who participate in online international Chinese language teaching classes as the research object.It mainly studies the specific effect and feedback of video materials applied to online international Chinese language teaching through questionnaire survey method,investigates the feelings and actual needs of Chinese learners for teachers’ application of video materials in online teaching,and investigates the real feelings and practical difficulties encountered by international Chinese teachers on the application of video materials.Based on the analysis and research of the survey results,the author further applies video materials in teaching practice.Finally,the advantages and functions of video materials in the online teaching of elementary Chinese comprehensive courses are summarized,the obstacles and problems encountered in the application of video materials are summarized,and specific suggestions for improvement are given.The results show that video materials can help to build a positive classroom atmosphere,create a real Chinese communication environment and improve learners’ listening and speaking ability.In addition,the application of video materials also faces some difficulties to overcome: learners are difficult to understand the video language,the video quality is uneven,and the channels for obtaining video resources are narrow and difficult to retrieve.According to the existing problems.The above problems need to be gradually solved in the improvement of construction of international Chinese education and teaching resources,this paper gives some suggestions from the four aspects of video material selection,application,playback and the construction of video resource platform.It is expected to provide a way to think about solving the problems of video material applications.
