Cyberpunk is a critical art genre of the 20 th century. As a critique of art, cyberpunk art does not directly express its opposition to modern technology, but mainly expresses its concern about modern technology through the tragic fate of its characters and the disasters caused by technological alienation. On the one hand,it depicts the new and exciting life experiences brought by modern technology, such as virtual existence and body transformation, and on the other hand,it shows the collapse of nature in the technological age,the repressed society, and the existence of people trapped in "nothingness",suffering from existential pain and homelessness. This paper is an aesthetic study of cyberpunk art(movies, novels),combining techno-critical theory with art theory, analyzing the aesthetic characteristics of this art genre, and reveals the profound ideological connotation and practical enlightenment value of its technical criticism. This article is divided into three parts. The first chapter takes the concept of science fiction definition of "science fiction is a kind of technology fiction" as the starting point, analyzes the reasons why Cyberpunk novels are technology novels, points out that modern technology factors are the common characteristics between Cyberpunk movies and novels, and reveals Cyberpunk movies The relationship between the criticism of novels and the criticism of technology. The second chapter takes the technology alienation theory and the tragedy theory as the structural frame work, analyzes the three classic images of cyberspace, cyberg and artificial intelligence in Cyberpunk movies and novels, and reveals the aesthetic characteristics of technology criticism.Specifically, firstly, taking the destruction and disappearance of nature in Cyberpunk movies and novels as an example,Baudrillard’s relevant theory is used to explain the falsity of nature in the technical reconstruction, which is a kind of natural disappearance in the historical sense; Then from a philosophical perspective,it analyzes the impact of the birth of super artificial intelligence on human autonomy and the end of human beings;Secondly, through the artistic depiction of the free representation of cyberspace,it deeply analyzes the confinement of human body and rootless drift of consciousness caused by cyberspace; Finally, the tragedy of Cyberg is used to metaphor the tragic survival situation of human beings under the fate of technology. The third chapter, based on the critical theory of technology from the perspective of philosophy, compares the relationship between people and modern technology in Cyberpunk movies and novels from different theoretical perspectives, points out that the narrative mode in Cyberpunk movies and novels applies the concept of technology that "people are the invention of technology",highlighting its deep connection with the theory of modern technology,At the same time,it discusses the reason why cyberpunk art is regarded as the art of contemplation, and points out the practical value of reflection technology contained in cyberpunk movies and novels.
