Research On The Style Of Cyberpunk Films

With the concept of the meta universe becoming a hot topic in the 21 st century,cyberspace in cyberpunk movies has gradually become a visible reality in our lives.The realization of the 5G network environment,the maturity of artificial intelligence and cloud computing technology,and the continuous development of the blockchain industry have all provided new possibilities for the creation of the meta universe.As a virtual space beyond reality,It is a collective shared space of information.Everyone becomes the creator of the world.Various elements in the meta universe,such as virtual digital people,objects,scenes,and so on,are interrelated with people and things in reality.This digital space with fuzzy virtual and real boundaries is just like the event festival in cyberpunk movies.As Mr.Dai Jinhua said,the future has come,The future world described in cyberpunk movies is gradually coming to our real world.This constantly approaching reality makes cyberpunk movies a medium for people to observe and reflect on the real world.Cyberpunk film has a history of more than 40 years from its birth in the 1980 s to its diversified and prosperous development today.It has also gradually formed a typical style,attracting a large number of fans who love science fiction and brain burning.Its gorgeous image wonders have been applied to many fields,forming a cyberpunk trend,Cyberpunk 2077 enables people to experience the colorful future world of cyberpunk in the form of games.Due to the popularity of cyberpunk style visual products,cyberpunk has quickly become a widely mentioned cultural term on social software.Various concepts and contents related to it are becoming increasingly commonplace,but extensive dissemination has also led to the misinterpretation and one-sided distribution of this concept in the circulation process.Cyberpunk,as a science fiction genre extending from the literary field to film,games and other fields,has a long and rich history of development and cultural implications.This paper attempts to conduct a more comprehensive research on the visual presentation of cyberpunk from the cyberpunk works in the film field as the research object,and explore the meaning and connotation under the image.This study is mainly divided into four chapters.The first chapter studies and combs the development origin,performance object and landscape characteristics of cyberpunk movies from the historical dimension and macro perspective,laying the foundation for subsequent text research.The second chapter takes the characters in cyberpunk movies as the research object,combs the characteristics of the subject shaping through the deconstruction of the body in cyberpunk movies,and studies the philosophical meaning behind the body writing.The third chapter starts from the space landscape presented by cyberpunk movies,sorts out the urban wonders and cyberspace features constructed in cyberpunk movies,and combines Baudrillard’s Consumer Society and Foucault’s Discipline and Punishment and other research achievements to decode the observation and thinking of post-modern society behind the image symbols.Finally,the fourth chapter studies the aesthetic style of cyberpunk movies from the aesthetic perspective,and explores the yearning for freedom and reflection on technology under the bizarre scenes.Based on the interdisciplinary perspective,this study takes the representative cyberpunk movies as an example to study and sort out the types and styles of cyberpunk movies from theory to practice,hoping to provide some reference for the development of relevant industries of cyberpunk movies in China.
