| MTCSOL mainly cultivates high-level,application-oriented,compound and internationalized professionals with skilled Chinese as a second language teaching skills,good cultural communication skills and cross-cultural communication skills to adapt to the international promotion of Chinese and be competent for various teaching tasks.MTCSOL attaches great importance to practicality.It not only requires MTCSOL to have a rich and solid theoretical foundation,but also has excellent practical ability.the cultivation of professional practical ability is the focus of the training of MTCSOL.therefore,it is of great significance to study the professional practical ability of MTCSOL.This paper studies the professional practical ability of MTCSOL.Through questionnaire survey and interview,this paper investigates the professional practice ability of MTCSOL in five dimensions : Chinese knowledge foundation and related ability of Chinese as a second language teaching,Chinese cultural communication ability,intercultural communication ability,Chinese communication and foreign language communication ability,educational research ability and career development ability.Through analysis,it is found that the professional practical ability of MTCSOL is generally at the upper-middle level,and the five dimensions are also at the upper-middle level,and there is still room for improvement.Among them,the level of cross-cultural communication ability is the highest,and the level of Chinese knowledge base and Chinese as a second language teaching related ability,educational research ability and career development ability is relatively low.In the analysis of the difference of professional practical ability of MTCSOL based on different variables,there are significant differences in the five dimensions of professional understanding and professional practical ability.According to the survey results,we summarize the influencing factors of the professional practice ability of the MTCSOL from three aspects : students themselves,schools and society.Students ’ own factors mainly include professional identity and love,professional knowledge foundation,psychological adaptability and so on.School factors mainly include curriculum setting,practical training opportunities and collective learning atmosphere.Social factors mainly include practical training opportunities,social employment prospects and so on.Combined with the problems and causes found in the study,this paper puts forward targeted suggestions from the perspectives of students themselves,schools and society.The students themselves mainly adjust their mentality and enhance their sense of identity and love for the profession,solid professional foundation and promote professional knowledge and skills.Effective convergence,strengthen awareness and actively explore ways to improve professional practice ability,in order to effectively improve their professional practice ability;the school level is mainly to optimize the curriculum and improve the pertinence of teaching,enrich the practical training methods and enhance the effectiveness of practical training;the social level is mainly to increase relevant communication and discussion opportunities,increase employment opportunities and broaden employment channels.Through the research of this paper,on the one hand,we hope to help MTCSOL find effective ways and directions to improve,so as to further improve their professional practice ability;on the other hand,it also hopes to provide some reference for the training unit to better cultivate the professional practical ability of the master of Chinese international education. |
