Study On Abilities Cultivation Of MTCSOL Based On Teaching Practice In Korea

The Cultivating goal of the MTCSOL is to cultivate these who can adapt to the environment of promotion of Chinese both domestic and abroad, qualified for a variety of Chinese language teaching at home and abroad, and who are with high level,applied, complex professional qualities. From which we can see the MTCSOL mainly cultivate the abilities of teaching abroad, so ideal practical places for the students of MTCSL is foreign countries. And overseas internship is very important for this major. However this major is at the very beginning of its development, so there are still some problems.This project will summarize the abilities of the successful language teachers based on surveys and we find Chinese teachers still have room to be improved in these following aspects:educational philosophy; class managements; professional developments and innovation of teaching. According to these aspects, we reflect the curriculum setting, and give our suggestions:(1) We should emphasize the importance of the educational philosophy. We should also add this to our outward curriculum, part (3) management of teaching and education.(2) Class management is very important and we should manage our class effectively. We suggest adding this to the training curriculum.(3) The ability of professional development. This is almost zero in our curriculum setting. So we suggest adding this to our outward curriculum.(4) There is already the teaching part in our curriculum, but we suggest emphasizing the importance of specific teaching methods. This project aims to give suggestion based on surveys and then reflect the system of curriculum setting,and give suggestions on curriculum to promote the cultivation of the students of MTCSOL, furthermore, to promote the overseas internship.
