The Greek Suite created by Pedro Iturald is a four-movement suite that integrates four musical styles,each movement having its own style characteristics.The musical styles include:Greek dance style,jazz style,waltz style,and Indian classical improvisation style,and the four movements echo each other in terms of musical rhythm.The music is divided into two versions:the saxophone quartet and the saxophone and piano duet.Each of the four movements of the Greek suite has its own unique title,consisting of the first movement "Kalamatianos",the second movement"Funky",the third movement "Valse",and the fourth movement "Kristis".This article analyzes and elaborates from three perspectives.First,it analyzes the musical life of Pedro Iturald and the musical creation style of the Greek Suite.Secondly,by analyzing the rhythm of each movement of the "Greek Suite",it clarifies the diversified rhythmic characteristics of the music.Thirdly,the method of practice is discussed through the playing techniques in the "Greek Suite".And will combine their own practical performance to comb out their own experience for reference.
