A Study On The Development And Evolution Of Saxophone In Jazz Bands In The 20th Century

Saxophone is a relatively "young" instrument in the history of music,but now it has been widely spread both in music category and region,and even become a synonym of jazz.However,the history of saxophone and some historical documents are rarely summarized.One of the purposes of this paper is to sort out and summarize the development history of saxophone,and it focuses on the blending of saxophone and jazz in the 20th century.This thesis is divided into four chapters.The first part,the overview,is a description of the object of study,the emergence and influence of saxophone and subsequent development of saxophone producer adolf saxophone.This part also includes the original shape and circumstances of jazz and all the factors that influence its inclusion in the saxophone.In chapter 2,the development of saxophone and jazz in the 20th century will be an important environmental background for the center of the paper.This chapter will describe the development of saxophone and jazz in the 20th century,and how the saxophone entered the jazz field and flourished in the 20th century.Chapter three focuses on the evolution of saxophone in the jazz band,which will be divided into several aspects in the historical literature review and analysis.The fourth chapter is the conclusion,expounding the significance of the development of saxophone in the jazz band,including its historical influence and future development direction.
