The friendship between China and Thailand has a long history.In recent years,due to the further development of China’s "Belt&Road",Thailand has become one of China’s largest economic and trade partners in the ASEAN region.Due to the further development of friendly relations between Thailand and China,a wave of learning Chinese has been set off in Thailand.Under the epidemic,the Ministry of Education of Thailand has issued online teaching guidelines of "on-air,on-demand,and recorded",and Thai colleges and universities have started teaching Chinese courses through online teaching.This paper selects the Eastern Technological College,which has a larger scale of teaching Chinese courses,as an example among the institutions that offer Chinese courses in Thailand,and analyzes the current situation of online Chinese teaching in Thai institutions under the background of the COVID-19 epidemic.Through a questionnaire survey.The paper try to understand the actual situation and problems faced by teachers and students in colleges in Thailand in terms of pre-class preparation,teaching situation,after-class feedback,platform and network resource use,etc.of teachers,students and network education respectively.From the three aspects of resources,it is concluded that there are problems such as low information abilities of teachers,low interest in students’ online learning,and leakage of resources in online Chinese courses in Thai colleges.After analyzing the data of the questionnaire survey,the content of the paper puts forward suggestions from the aspects of improving teachers’ online Chinese lesson teaching ability,improving learners’ online Chinese learning motivation,and strengthening the construction of Chinese teaching resources.It provides a reference for online teaching improvement for the cultivation of professional Chinese talents under the epidemic situation in Thailand.This research is divided into four parts:Chapter 1 Introduction.This paper expounds the research background and research significance of this topic,organizes the existing literature from different perspectives of online Chinese education,and summarizes the study results of the predecessors.Combined with relevant pedagogical theories,the research object and the current Chinese teaching needs of Thai colleges and universities,as well as the needs of online Chinese teaching methods and means under the background of the epidemic is introduced in detail to provide a certain background support for the combination of online Chinese teaching research.Chapter 2-Investigation and analysis of the current situation of online Chinese teaching in Eastern Technological College.Under the guidance of the previous research background,research significance,teaching theory and related research methods,this chapter conducts a systematic data investigation and analysis on teachers’ teaching and students’ learning process based on the collected questionnaires,and sorts out the problems for the following sections.Chapter 3-Analysis of the problems and reasons in online Chinese teaching in Eastern Technological College.This chapter is based on the statistical results of Chapter 2,combined with the theoretical guidance and background guidance of the previous article,the paper analyzes the problems in online Chinese teaching in Thai colleges and universities to put forward the crux of the problems,and deeply explore the reasons for the problems,so as to put forward pertinence for the following article.Chapter 4-Countermeasures and Suggestions.Based on the research results of Chapters 2 and 3,and according to the course background and theoretical guidance,this paper puts forward the improvement strategies for online Chinese classroom teaching in Eastern Technological College.In order to improve the level and efficiency of online Chinese classroom teaching in Eastern Technological College.The reference is provided to achieve the research purpose of this paper.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the online Chinese teaching of Eastern Technological College in Thailand and explores the causes of the problems,hoping to improve the online Chinese teaching efficiency of Eastern Technological College in Thailand and provide reference for training professional Chinese talents in Thai universities under the epidemic situation. |
