Research On The Condition Of Chinese Teaching In Private Chinese Schools In Eastern Thailand

There are many overseas Chinese in eastern Thailand.In order to provide opportunities for C hinese students to learn Chinese,many Private Chinese Schools have been established.With the continuous advancement of the “Belt and Road” construction,Thailand has increased its emphasis on Chinese language teaching,and Chinese schools have also ushered in important development opportunities.The Private Chinese Schools of Eastern Thailand C lub is an organization that promotes mutual exchanges and cooperation between Private C hinese Schools.Taking Jiamin school in Prachin Buri as an example,this paper makes an in-depth study on 15 governing schools of the Private C hinese Schools of Eastern Thailand Club from the aspects of Chinese teachers,C hinese learners,teaching equipment,curriculum,textbook selection,teaching syllabus,cultural activities,etc.by using the methods of questionnaire,interview and statistical analysis from the macro and micro levels.First of all,on the macro level,this paper makes an investigation and analysis of the overall C hinese teaching situation of the Private Chinese Schools of Eastern Thailand C lub,and points out the common problems of the Private Chinese Schools in eastern Thailand.Secondly,at the micro level,this paper makes an in-depth study on Jiamin school,which reflects the current situation of C hinese teaching in Private Chinese schools in eastern Thailand and many problems that need to be solved.In order to better improve the C hinese teaching situation of Private Chinese schools in eastern Thailand,this article specifically proposes the following suggestions for improvement from four aspects: school,Hanban and Overseas Chinese Office,learners,and C hinese teachers: schools should actively carry out extracurricular activities and vigorously Improve teaching facilities and purchase a sufficient amount of Chinese textbooks;Hanban and O verseas C hinese Affairs Office should vigorously tra in local teachers,coordinate with the Thai side in a timely manner,and appropriately improve Chinese textbooks;learners should actively change their learning attitudes and enhance self-discipline;Chinese teachers should formulate Reasonable teaching plan,actively adjust the teaching mentality.I hope that through the in-depth study of this article,we will promote the development of Chinese teaching in Jiamin School of Prachinburi Province and the Private Chinese Schools in eastern Thailand,thereby promoting cultural exchanges between C hina and Thailand.
