Research On The Application Of Production-oriented Approach In Intermediate Oral Chinese Teaching

Abstract/Summary:
As the global "Chinese language fever" heats up,more and more people come to study in China.However,in teaching,we found that intermediate Chinese learners still have the problem of "separation of learning and use".Therefore,I try to introduce production-oriented approach into the intermediate oral Chinese teaching,hoping to increase students’ interest and promote the improvement of students’ learning level.The thesis first takes production-oriented approach as the theoretical basis,summarizes its development process in English teaching and Chinese teaching,expounds its teaching philosophy,teaching process,etc.and makes the feasibility analysis of applying the theory to intermediate-level oral teaching.Then,based on production-oriented approach,a case design of the intermediate oral Chinese teaching is carried out-taking the third unit "Jiaxiang" of "Developing Chinese·Intermediate Speaking Course" as an example.Then,the thesis demonstrates specific examples of combining production-oriented approach with intermediate oral English classes.Next,the author analyzes the effectiveness of production-oriented approach applied to intermediate-level oral Chinese teaching from three aspects: the quality of output,the degree of students’ participation and the sense of students’ gain.Finally,I put forward some suggestions for the advantages and disadvantages of production-oriented approach applied to the intermediate-level oral Chinese teaching.The study found that the production-oriented approach has advantages in improving students’ enthusiasm,enlivening the classroom atmosphere,enhancing the logic of students’ oral expression,and promoting the quality of classroom teaching.It is also more suitable for intermediate oral teaching.At the same time,applying the output-oriented approach to intermediate oral teaching needs to pay attention to the following issues: 1.Teachers need to improve their own level and use correct methods to accurately guide students’ learning;2.The teaching process should be carried out step by step;3.Teachers need to be targeted at the characteristics of the students,make appropriate adjustments to the classroom teaching;4.The comparison class should be appropriately increased,the number of experimental classes should be expanded,and the experimental period should be extended.
