Research On Suspense Narrative Strategy Of Chinese Mystery Films

Mystery movie is a kind of genre movie.In mystery movies,the hero’s career is often a detective.The main focus of the narrative is logical deduction,and the ultimate goal is to solve the suspense and reveal the truth through layers of abstraction,so as to attract the audience’s interest.In 20 years of market development,China’s reasoning have achieved breakthrough on quantity and quality.Through the genre research,development overview and suspense setting of domestic mystery films,this paper explores the aesthetic research on space-time mechanism,narrative level and character image design,so as to push domestic mystery films towards a more mature direction.The introduction part of this paper introduces the research origin and significance of the paper,through the review and comparison of previous achievements,determine the research method of this paper.The first chapter summarizes the overall overview of integrated mystery film: the definition of the concept of mystery film,and the development of mystery film in Britain and the United States and other countries.From the three time dimensions of origin,silence and revival,this paper narrates the development of Chinese mystery films in the past20 years and summarizes the aesthetic tendencies of different periods.The second chapter deconstructs the domestic mystery films from the temporal and spatial perspective of image narration.Based on the practical features and application of space in reasoning films,the spatial models of closed space,open space and nested space are derived in reasoning films.At the level of narrative time,domestic inference films have experienced the change from chronology to multiple time series.The third chapter mainly analyzes the narrative structure and character image setting of Chinese mystery films.At the level of narrative structure of domestic mystery films,it mainly covers multiple narrative mode,Hollywood three-stage mode and loop-layered mode.Under the joint action of these three narrative modes,the exquisite logical structure of mystery films is displayed to the maximum.As the auxiliary of the character image setting in the narrative text,the construction and resolution of the uncertainty of the protagonist’s choice and his behavior and the binary opposition of relation have become the necessary conditions for suspense in reasoning films.The fourth chapter mainly explains the limitations of Chinese reasoning films,and points out that at the present stage,the narrative dimension of mystery reasoning films is too narrow,and there is a tendency of simplification and overflow in the subject matter.Gender focus is particularly prominent in such films.Thus,it summarizes the development trend of Chinese mystery drama in the future and the path planning of increasing female stereoscopic image.The fifth chapter is based on the above research,the graduation project,the script "Bureau" to make the relevant interpretation.This paper mainly discusses from three aspects: creation conception,suspense setting and creation reflection.Based on relevant drama theory,it concretely dissolves the plot design structure and event details of the script "who kills me",and combines theory with practice.The mystery film has always been a hot topic in the film market.The strong psychological expectation of the audience for the mystery film shows the yearning for the construction of a rational society and a legal society,as well as the desire and search for the truth of the audience.A qualified and excellent mystery film should become a perspective mirror into the complexity of human nature and have a guiding value orientation to face social problems and contradictions.
