Abstract/Summary:
As the growing of China’s global influence and progressing of the Belt and Road Initiative,it makes international education in Chinese carry the mission of intercultural communication.Comprehensive course is one of the important types of primary teaching of Chinese as a foreign language.In the Internet~+Era,the vigorous rise of online teaching makes the demonstration course extremely important for novice teachers to improve their professional skills and Chinese learners’language development ability.In view of the lack of thematic classroom activities in the primary stage of Chinese comprehensive course,thematic teaching method reflects its effectiveness.However,there is still a lack of research on how teachers effectively use thematic teaching method in the teaching of comprehensive course in the video cases of primary Chinese demonstration course.This paper takes the video series of“Happy Chinese”,launched by the Chinese league platform of the Chinese teaching project of the ministry of education,the foreign language exchange and cooperation center,as the object of the case study video.By theme-based teaching method,the demonstration class was watched,translated and summarized.Based on the analysis of the current situation of the video development of the subject-based teaching method in the primary Chinese comprehensive course at home and abroad,this paper analyzes and studies the vocabulary,grammar and text teaching links of the specific demonstration course,and discusses and draws lessons from the excellent teachers how to use the subject-based teaching method to effectively guide the primary Chinese comprehensive course and improve the teaching effect of novice teachers.At the same time,this paper carries out the case study of the demonstration course,summarizing its advantages for further study and extension as well as solving existing problems and proposing actions for improvement.This paper is composed of five parts.The first chapter is a brief introduction to the background,the significance,the methods and current status.The second chapter elaborates the connotation and related theoretical basis of the theme-based teaching method.The third chapter takes the video of“Happy Chinese”as a case study to focus on vocabulary teaching,grammar teaching and text teaching to carry out research and teaching evaluation.The fourth chapter summarizes the inspiration from the study of the demonstration course of the theme-based teaching method in the elementary Chinese comprehensive course.The fourth chapter also reveals the optimization and popularization of the video case of the demonstration course to provide more references for the future research.The fifth chapter summarizes the whole paper.
