A Study On The Modern Reserach Of The Book Of Songs From The Perspective Of Knowledge Transformation

Regarding the development and transformation of the study of the Book of Songs in the modern period,the current popular view is the transformation of its research paradigm from classics to literature.Under the framework of the argument between classics and literature,the values of classics in traditional scholarship became the haze that obscured the "original features" of the Book of Songs.From the study of classics to literature,the writing of academic history has the meaning of "progress" instead of "backward".It shows the basic form that a new study can be established only when one old study is pushed down.Writing through the perspective of knowledge transformation can more dynamically and truly restore how the Book of Songs entered the process of modern discipline research,and thus reveal the chances of the classics in the modern period.The first chapter takes the internal academic motivation for change as the main argument.The first section takes Dai Zhen’s method of using various objective knowledge to explain the classics as an example,and reviews the process of Qing Confucianism using the rhythm of the Book of Songs to establish ancient phonetics.To discuss the situation of knowledge expansion and research method innovation since the Qing Dynasty,the relationship between the use of specialized knowledge to interpret classics and the reconstruction of the ancient knowledge world through the classics in Qing Dynasty was regarded as the precursor of modern knowledge transformation.From the perspective of bibliography,the second section discusses the importance of Duan Yucai’s "Twenty-one Classics" attaching the classics to the academic classification of Six Arts.And through the classification of the catalogue compiled by the Economic and practical anthology in the late Qing Dynasty,we can see how the scholars accepted the new learning in the knowledge system of the old learning.The second chapter borrows the concept of "knowledge warehouse" and treats the Book of Songs as a knowledge warehouse in the establishment of a modern emerging knowledge system,providing various historical resources for the promotion of research in various disciplines.The first section needs to answer the question of how old knowledge is included in the new discipline.Therefore,it reviewed the process of repositioning the old school under the new school vision in the late Qing dynasty and the beginning of the modern period.Viewing the Book of Songs as sociological works and Chinese textbooks in the Spring and Autumn Period should be understood in this context.The second section discusses how the Book of Songs provides historical literature materials for the construction of literature and history in the academic movement of sorting out the national heritage.What is interesting in the process of the Book of Songs as a knowledge storehouse that allows scholars of the Republic of China to arbitrate is that,on the one hand,they criticized the Han Confucianism to cover the Book of Songs with their own scholarly care.On the other hand,they also interpreted and restored the "original features" of the Book of Songs with the values of enlightenment at that time.In addition,under the ideological trend of not believing in ancient books at that time and especially overthrowing Mao Shixu,Fu Sinian used the theory of poetry to estimate the historical geographical location of Dadong and Xiaodong,and discussed a series of research methods of ancient history,which seems like very paradoxical.Chapter 3,by restoring the historical context,reviews the three marginal documents that were unknown in the Qing Dynasty,such as The General Theory of the Book of Songs,Optical Knowledge of Reading Guo Feng,and Original Research of the Book of Songs.Discussing how the three books approached the center of academic discussion through the exploration,interpretation,shaping and simultaneous development of modern scholars.With this in mind,in the context of sorting out old studies and establishing new ones,how traditional literature has become a knowledge warehouse in academic transformation.
