In the early 20 th century,the sacred status of Confucian classics was disintegrated,the modern academic system was gradually established,and the study of the Book of Songs also changed.The first thirty years of the twentieth century is an important transition period in the history of " Book of Songs." Studying the content and characteristics of the " Book of Songs" literature in this period is not only an important part of studying the history of " Book of Songs " in the twentieth century,but also provides clues for understanding the academic transformation in the first thirty years of the twentieth century.It helps to understand its academic significance and lays a foundation for future research on " Book of Songs." This paper mainly studies from four perspectives.The first chapter studies the academic background of the study of the Book of Songs in the first thirty years of the twentieth century,from the external conditions and internal factors of the study of the Book of Songs.In terms of external conditions,the disintegration of the traditional Confucian classics system has separated the study of the Book of Songs from the old ideas.The establishment of the modern academic system has pointed out a new direction for the study of the Book of Songs.The development of the publishing industry has created new conditions for the dissemination of the research results of the Book of Songs.As far as the internal conditions are concerned,the emphasis on empirical textual research in the study of the " Book of Songs " in the Qing Dynasty,the " Book of Songs " doubting the ancient trend of thought in the Song Dynasty,and the " Book of Songs " literature research that has been hidden after the study of the classics have provided a methodological and material basis for the study of modern " Book of Songs."The second chapter studies the traditional " Book of Songs " literature in the first three decades of the twentieth century.It is divided into three parts : the " Book of Songs " literature of the New Text School,the " Book of Songs " literature of the Ancient Text School,and the "Book of Songs " literature of the New Text School.The annotation style and interpretation characteristics of the main " Book of Songs " literature are studied in depth,and the value and shortcomings of the main " Book of Songs " literature are evaluated.The third chapter studies the modern ’ Book of Songs ’ literature in the first three decades of the twentieth century,and studies some important new ’ Book of Songs ’ introduction works,the vernacular translation and vernacular annotation of the ’ Book of Songs ’,and the literature of the social and cultural features of the ’ Book of Songs ’ at this time.This paper expounds the content and characteristics of the modern ’ Book of Songs ’ literature,and evaluates the value of the literature.The fourth chapter studies the general characteristics and influence of the " Book of Songs " literature in the first thirty years of the twentieth century.The complex and diverse literature styles,the transformation of the research language from classical Chinese to vernacular,the emphasis on the study of " Book of Songs " literature,the renewal of research methods and the deep influence of social movements are the distinctive features of the study of " Book of Songs " at this time.The change of the literary concept at this time had a profound impact on the study of the Book of Songs.Since then,a large number of research works on the artistic techniques and ideological content of the Book of Songs have emerged,as well as the modern translation,annotation and appreciation of the Book of Songs from a literary perspective.
