| Objectives:To investigate the expression level of Krüppel like factor 10(KLF10)in lung cancer tissue and adjacent lung tissue and normal lung tissue,and analyze the relationship between its expression and clinical pathological characteristics and prognosis of patients.To explore the possible function of KLF10 in the lung cancer,finding new targets for the treatment of lung cancer patients and ultimately improving the overall survival rate.Methods:146 cases of NSCLC cancer tissues,115 cases of paracancerous lung tissues and56 normal lung tissues were collected from the Department of Pathology of Qujing Second People’s Hospital from 2017 to 2019.Immunohistochemical methods were used to detect the expression of KLF10 in NSCLC cancer tissues,paracancerous lung tissues and normal lung tissues.Chi-square test was used to analyze the difference in the expression of KLF10 protein in lung cancer and adjacent tissues and normal lung tissue,as well as the correlation between KLF10 expression and various clinical pathological characteristics.And through Kaplan Meier survival analysis and Cox regression analysis,to elaborate the influence of KLF10 expression in the prognosis of patients.Results:1.The positive expression rate of KLF10 in NSCLC cancer tissue was 72.6%,and the positive expression rate in paracancerous lung tissue was 94.8%,the positive expression rate in normal lung tissue was 98.2%,The difference is statistically significant,The positive expression rate of KLF10 in NSCLC cancer tissue is significantly lower than paracancerous lung tissue and normal lung tissue(P<0.001).2.The expression of KLF10 in NSCLC caner tissue was correlated with tumor differentiation,lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis(P<0.05),There was no significant correlation with gender,age,TNM stage,maximum tumor diameter,histological type,and smoking history(P>0.05).3.The expression of KLF10 is related to different subtypes of lung adenocarcinoma(χ~2=21.081,P<0.001).4.Kaplan Meier survival analysis showed that patients with higher KLF10expression had longer overall survival than patients with lower KLF10 expression.The survival rate of patients with higher KLF10 expression was significantly higher than those with lower KLF10 expression.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).5.Univariate Cox regression analysis showed that KLF10 negative expression and later period(III+IV)were risk factors for death(P<0.05);Multivariate Cox regression analysis showed that KLF10 negative expression was an independent prognostic factor(P<0.05).Conclusions:1.The positive expression rate of KLF10 in NSCLC cancer tissue is significantly lower than paracancerous lung tissue and normal lung tissue,The expression of KLF10 is related to different tumor differentiation,lymph node metastasis,and distant metastasis,as well as different subtypes of lung adenocarcinoma,This suggests that KLF10 may play an anti-tumor role in non-small cell lung cancer.2.The survival rate of patients with higher KLF10 expression levels was significantly higher than those with lower KLF10 expression levels.KLF10 may serve as a prognostic marker for NSCLC patients. |
