Purpose:Clinical Observation and Study on the Efficacy and Safety of Modified Suo Quan Pills in the Treatment of Infantile Enuresis(kidney deficiency cold,Lung and Spleen Qi Deficiency Syndrome). Methods:Ninety cases of children with enuresis who matched the nappy criteria were collected in the Pediatric outpatient clinic of Sichuan Provincial TCM Hospital between 05/2021 and 08/2022.The 90 cases were divided into control and Pilot groups by simple randomization based on the Packet grouping method and the two groups were studied and studied using a randomized Parallel comparison method.Forty-five cases in the control group took oral intake of the Shrinking Spring Capsule and the Tonic Zhong Yi Qi Pill, whereas 45 cases in the experimental group were given the treatment with the Plus Tonic Shrinking Spring Pill. The duration of therapy was set at four weeks. The efficacy and safety of the test were investigated according to whether there were differences in the relevant indexes at the end of the test.Six months after the end of the trial, the subjects with significant efficacy in both groups were followed up for long-term efficacy. The data of this study were statistically analyzed using SPSS25.0 software.Result:1.To compare the equilibrium of the two groups: using statistical methods,it was calculated that there was not a statistically significant difference in gender(P > 0.05)and age(P > 0.05)between the two groups of children;there was a statistically not a statistically significant difference in the TCM symptom score before the intervention and frequency of enuresis between the two subjects(P > 0.05),which could be compared between the two groups.2.Comparison of the efficacy of TCM symptoms: The comparison between the test group and the control group before and immediately after therapy showed statistically meaningful differences in the scores of the main symptoms, the Points of the secondary symptoms as well as the total scores of Chinese medicine symptoms(P<0.05),indicating that the interventions in the test group and the control group had a Positive effect on the improvement of the Chinese medicine symptoms of the children with enuresis. The differences in the Primary symptoms(frequency of enuresis, sleeplessness),secondary symptoms(fatigue, coldness, loss of appetite, lazy speech, spontaneous sweating, loose stools)and overall TCM symptoms between the treatment groups were found to be statistically significant(P<0.05),while the differences in the secondary symptoms(less colorful face, soreness and weakness of the waist and knees)between the treatment groups were not statistically significant(P>0.05).The experimental group was better than the control group in terms of the improvement of the main symptoms(less colorful face, weakness of the waist and knees),secondary symptoms(fatigue, coldness, loss of appetite, lazy speech, spontaneous sweating, loose bowels)and the total score of TCM symptoms, but there was no significant difference between the experimental group and the control group in relation to the improvement of the remaining secondary symptoms(less colorful face, weakness of the waist and knees).3.Comparison of disease efficacy: After 4 weeks of the trial course, statistics and calculations of the two teams showed that the overall effective rate was 87.5% in the control group and 85.7% in the trial group, and by chi-square test(P>0.05),no significant difference was found in the short-term efficacy of the two interventions;6months after the 4-week course, the follow up of the long-term efficacy was calculated and the relapse rate was 6.7% in the trial group and 38.5% in the control group This means that the recurrence rate was lower in the test group compared with the control group.Conclusion:1.This Pilot study found that two interventions, the oral administration of the Plus Flavor Shrinking Spring Pill and the oral administration of the Shrinking Spring Capsules and the Supplementary Zhong Yi Qi Pill, were effective in the treatment of children with enuresis(deficiency of the lower yuan and deficiency of the lung and spleen).2.In improving the main symptoms(frequency of enuresis and sleeplessness)and secondary symptoms(fatigue, spontaneous sweating, loss of appetite, loose stools, lack of breath and words, and coldness),the general effectiveness rate of the test group was better than that of the control condition, while the improvement of the secondary symptoms(lack of facial color and weakness of the waist and knees)was comparable to that of the control condition.
