Objective:With the rapid development of China’s economy, the majority of patients put forward higher and higher requirements for the emergency system. At present, there are few relevant studies on showing regional characteristics, and the existing research results have obvious limitations. At the same time, the relevant research in coastal areas is less than that in inland areas,Shandong Peninsula and Qingdao have not paid much attention to such studies, the number of relevant studies is obviously small, and the research time is relatively long, which has no guiding significance for the improvement of pre-hospital emergency system.Based on the statistical analysis of the relevant data of West Coast new area of Qingdao from 2016 to 2020,this study discusses the disease spectrum distribution and epidemiological characteristics of patients received by this area, which is a powerful supplement to relevant research in Qingdao.According to the research results,we can improve the shortcomings of the pre-hospital first aid system,so as to better serve the patients. Methods:Retrospective analysis was used to collect and sort out all emergency electronic medical records in the West Coast new area of Qingdao from 2016 to 2020,and epidemiological analysis was carried out on the indexes such as gender, age, disease spectrum and peak time.Referring to the international disease classification standard ICD-10,the types of diseases in the electronic medical records are divided into trauma diseases, circulatory diseases, respiratory diseases, nervous system diseases, digestive system diseases, tumors, endocrine systems, gynecological diseases, obstetric diseases, pediatric diseases, five sense organs diseases, toxic diseases, sudden death, critical syndrome multiple organ failure, mental system diseases, urinary system diseases, infectious diseases. There are 19 categories of iatrogenic conditions and other diseases inconvenient to classify. The PHI score was used as the basis for the preliminary evaluation and classification of mild and severe patients.According to the current general age classification standard, the patients were divided into 10 groups:less than 1,1-7,8-18,19-35,36-59,60-64,65-70,71-79 years old, more than 80 years old,and age unknown.SPSS 21.0 was used to analyse the data, and the constituent ratio and percentage were used to describe the disease. The descriptive analysis was used for the situation of emergency services,andχ~2was used for the differences between groups in different seasons, different time periods, different age groups and genders. The critical probability of the mean number of circular distribution angles was calculated directly by Excel software, and the difference was considered to be statistically significant with P<0.05.Results:1.The total number of cases included in this study was 127,922,and the ratio of male to female was 1.52:1.The average number of visits per year is 25.584±2,470.The patients aged 36-59 are the most(44,570 cases,34.84%).2.The top three diseases in the disease spectrum are trauma diseases(42.95%),other types of diseases(14.86%)and nervous system diseases(12.42%).The high incidence of traumatic diseases were 36-59 years old(24,631 cases,44.85%)and 19-35 years old(13,064 cases,23.79%).The majority of traumatic diseases and nervous system diseases were male patients,χ~2=238.51,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant. In patients with mild illness, severe illness and death, the number of male patients was significantly higher than that of female patients,χ~2=175.596,p<0.05,and the gender difference was statistically significant. In the four seasons, the number of male patients was higher than that of female patients,χ~2=14.22,p<0.05,and the gender difference was statistically significant3.In the group aged≥60 years, the top six diseases in the disease spectrum are trauma diseases, nervous system diseases, other diseases, circulatory system diseases, respiratory system diseases and digestive system diseases. In the group aged<60 years, the top six diseases in the disease spectrum are trauma diseases, other diseases, nervous system diseases, poisoning diseases, mental system diseases and circulatory system diseases.4.Chi square test was performed on the number of visits in different seasons and years and in different years and months. The results wereχ~2=143.27,P<0.05 andχ~2=369.26,P<0.05.The difference was statistically significant. The demand of pre-hospital emergency patients has three peak periods in a day, respectively from 0:00 to 1:00,7:00to 8:00 and 17:00 to 18:00.According to Raymond’s test,it is calculated that the peak time in one day is 21:24。The peak of outpatient visits occurred on November 3.Conclusion:By studying the statistical characteristics of pre-hospital first aid in this area is conducive to more reasonable allocation of pre-hospital first aid resources according to peak and trough time, improve work efficiency and utilization of first aid resources, and provide logistical support.Through the characteristics of disease spectrum and epidemiology, strengthen the skill training and assessment of staff,so as to improve the pre-hospital first aid system and better serve the patients in this area.
