Abstract/Summary:
Objective To explore the influencing factors of attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children with tic disorder(TD).Method The patient was randomly selected from October,2020 to September,2022 and went to the hospital.Children with Tic Disorder(TD)and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder(TD + ADHD)Complicated with Tic Disorder in Pediatric Health Care and Psychosomatic Outpatients there were 151 children in total,78 children with simple tic disorder(TD),there were 73 children with Tic disorder who suffered attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(TD +ADHD),questionnaires were administered to all the parents of the study subjects, the differences in clinical indicators between the two groups were compared, and factors that were significant at the P≤0.20 level in the univariate model were included in a multifactorial logistic regression model to analyze influence factors for co-occurring attention deficit hyperactivity disorder in children with tic disorders. Results Gender, whether the first child, the child’s ethnicity, excessive consumption of fried foods, coffee, beverages, tic grading, corporal punishment of children, whether there are allergic diseases such as allergic rhinitis and allergic conjunctivitis, whether the anti-streptococcal hemolysin "O"(ASO)is abnormally elevated, whether you bite your nails,Yale scores,Wechsler scale scores were all P≤0.20,were included in the multivariate logistic regression model, the study showed that the risk factors of ADHD in children with tic disorder and the abnormal increase of anti-streptococcal hemolysin "O"(ASO)(OR = 2.772,95% CI: 1.118-6.876),nail biting(OR = 8.509,95% CI: 1.544-46.878),Wechsler scale score(OR = 0.947,95%CI: 0.905-0.991),the difference was statistically significant(P < 0.05).Conclusion 1.Abnormal increase of anti-streptolysin "O"(ASO)is a risk factor of ADHD in children with tic disorder(TD),compared to children with normal anti-streptolysin "O"(ASO),children with TD who had abnormally high levels of anti-streptolysin "O"(ASO)were at higher risk for comorbid ADHD.2.Nail biting is also a risk factor for comorbid attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD)in children with tic disorder(TD),and children with nail biting are more likely to comorbid ADHD than children without nail biting.3.Wechsler scale score is a protective factor of ADHD in children with tic disorder(TD).Children with tic disorder(TD)had a lower risk of comorbid attention deficit hyperactivity disorder(ADHD).
