| The policy orientation of the national vocational education reform,the demand of the teaching reform in secondary schools and the need for the reform of the teaching method of Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine have made the reform and innovation of the teaching method and the cultivation of high-quality skilled talents in secondary schools more and more important.The concept of PBL(Problem-based Learning)teaching method is in line with the new requirements of the teaching reform of secondary education and the teaching objectives of the Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine.Therefore,this study attempts to apply the PBL teaching method to the teaching of the course of Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine in secondary school,aiming to investigate the effect of the PBL teaching method in the teaching of the course of Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine in secondary school,to stimulate students’ learning autonomy,to enhance students’ awareness of questioning,to improve students’ ability to use theoretical knowledge to solve practical problems,and to lay the foundation for the cultivation of skilled talents.The research subjects in this study were students of Pharmacy 1 and Pharmacy2 classes of Class 2020 in Sanming N Vocational School.The research methods used were literature research,interview method,questionnaire survey method,case study method and classroom observation method.Firstly,by reading relevant materials and literature at home and abroad,the development history,connotation and characteristics,implementation process,evaluation methods and application of PBL teaching method in specific school sections were sorted out.Then,the theoretical basis of this study was determined and the core concepts were defined.Based on the above theoretical research,a survey on the current teaching status of the course Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine was conducted in Sanming N Vocational School through teacher interviews and student questionnaires to analyze the problems and causes of teaching.Afterwards,we conducted a pre-teaching analysis,determined the principles of the application of PBL teaching method,completed the design of the implementation process of PBL teaching method,and carried out PBL teaching practice in Pharmacy 1 and Pharmacy 2 classes of Class2020,using two sections of "Digestive Medicines" and "Tonic Medicines" as typical cases to discuss the implementation process of the PBL teaching method in detail.Finally,the effectiveness of the PBL teaching method in the teaching of the middle-level Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine course was evaluated by means of interviews,questionnaires and classroom observations.Conclusions of the study: The application of the PBL teaching method to teach the course of Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine in secondary school has been effective,stimulating students’ autonomy in learning,enhancing students’ awareness of questioning,improving students’ ability of cooperative inquiry,problem solving and communication and expression,exercising teachers’ teaching ability,and providing a reference case for the teaching reform of the course of "Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine" in secondary school.It also provides a reference case for the reform of the teaching of the Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine course in secondary schools.It is suggested that when applying the PBL teaching method to teach the Fundamentals of Chinese Medicine course in the future,front-line teachers should pay attention to the reasonable creation of problem situations,appropriate adjustment of the implementation process and improvement of their own professionalism. |
