Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Primary Anal Pruritus With Blood-deficiency And Wind-dryness Evidence By Combining Siwu Wanfeng San And Dermatitis Cream

Objective:To study the clinical efficacy of using Sifu Wanfeng San combined with dermatitis cream(in-hospital preparation)to assess the therapeutic effectiveness of in the treatment of primary anal pruritus with blood insufficiency and wind dryness and clinical safety of this method by comparing it with the commonly used drug for the treatment of anal pruritus,loratadine tablets taken orally combined with dermatitis cream applied topically.Methods: Eighty-four patients were divided into two groups at random: Treatment was given to 42 patients,and 42 patients received no treatment if they met the inclusion and exclusion criteria for primary anal pruritus with blood deficit and wind dryness,and the treatment group was given Si Wu Xiang Wen San orally combined with dermatitis cream externally,while the control group was given loratadine tablets orally combined with dermatitis cream externally.The patients’ symptoms and signs were evaluated by the visual analog scoring method,and their TCM symptoms and the degree,frequency and duration of anal itching were recorded for statistical analysis after being observed before and after therapy.The recurrence of the patients was counted and analyzed by follow-up after 2 months of drug discontinuation.Results:1.This leaves us with 80 valid cases,40 in the treatment group and 40 in the control group.The distribution of age,sex,and disease duration in the two groups was compared before treatment,and after statistical processing,p>0.05,the two groups were comparable.A total of 4 cases were shed and rejected during the treatment process and return visit.2.Comparing total clinical efficacy,the two groups’ respective total effective rates were 90.00% and 70.00% for the treatment group and the control group,respectively.The therapy group exhibited higher efficacy,which was demonstrated by the statistically significant value of P<0.05.3.Comparison of the effectiveness of TCM symptoms: The comparison of TCM symptom improvement between the two groups showed a statistically significant difference(P<0.05),indicating that the treatment group experienced significantly greater TCM symptom improvement than the control group.4.The results of P<0.05 showed that the improvement of the TCM points in the treatment group was better than that in the control group.5.Comparison of the efficacy of each TCM symptom: The two groups of patients were compared before and after treatment,and it was found that the symptoms of dry mouth and tongue and pale tongue with little coating were not statistically significant in the two groups,but the comparison was statistically significant(P<0.05)in terms of anal skin itching,dryness,lack of elasticity,scratching with blood scabs,palpitation and insomnia,five heartburn and fine pulse count,proving that the treated group was significantly better than the control group in terms of treating patients with anal skin itching,dryness,lack of elasticity,scratching with palpitation and insomnia,five heartburn and fine pulse count.The treatment group was significantly better than the control group in the treatment of itching,dryness,lack of elasticity,scratching with palpitations and insomnia,irritable heat in the five hearts and fine pulse count.6.After treatment,the degree,frequency and duration of itching improved in both groups compared to the pre-treatment period,with the treatment group showing a significant improvement compared to the control group(p<0.05).7.Recurrence and adverse responses were compared.After two months of follow-up monitoring of recurrence in both groups,statistical testing revealed that the therapy group had a decreased recurrence rate(P<0.05).In the therapy group,the recurrence rate was reduced(P<0.05).Neither group experienced any negative side effects while receiving treatment.Conclusion:The treatment of primary anal pruritus with blood deficiency and wind dryness syndrome by combining Siwu Wanfeng San with Dermatitis Cream can effectively relieve anal pruritus and eliminate the symptoms accompanying anal pruritus,including dry skin,lack of elasticity,scratch marks,blood scabs as well as palpitation and insomnia,irritability of the five hearts,pale tongue with little coating and fine pulse,improve the degree of anal pruritus of patients,reduce the frequency and duration of anal pruritus,and have a low recurrence rate and high safety.
