| OBJECTIVE:Subjects who visited our department were grouped to perform simple wire technique lift and minimally invasive SMAS lift, and the clinical treatment effects of the two types of face lifts were evaluated by observational analysis using WSRS and GAIS scale scores of the subjects before,6 months after and 12 months after surgery. Methods:A retrospective analysis of 120 cases of facelift performed by Professor Xinmin Wu from 08 2014 to 08 2016,iconsisting of 118 cases in women and 2 cases in men, with an age range of 35 to 65 years old and a median age of 51 years. All subjects were divided equally into two groups, group A(wire technique lift only)and group B(SMAS minimally invasive lift only). Two non-surgical physicians evaluated the subjects’ preoperative and postoperative facial wrinkles by the Wrinkle Severity Rating Scale(WSRS),combined with relevant imaging data, and the postoperative follow-up was performed by expert outpatient follow-up,telephone,and weixin. The postoperative efficacy and various complications were statistically analyzed using SPSS 26.0 software at the same time of follow-up.Results: The difference between the two groups in terms of improvement in the effect of rejuvenation of the middle and lower face of patients with mild to moderate aging at 6 months of follow-up was not statistically significant(P>0.05),while the improvement and maintenance time of the effect of rejuvenation of the middle and lower face of patients with mild to moderate and severe aging in group B at 12 months of follow-up were better than those in group A,the difference was statistically considerable(p<0.05)..Conclusion:For patients with mild to intermediate facial senility, there is no significant difference between the effect of simple wire technique and minimally invasive SMAS lift in a short period of time, and the advantages of short operation time, easy operation and low price, but the maintenance time of minimally invasive SMAS lift is longer. In both groups, absorbable PPDO threads are used, which are placed under the skin to promote the production of elastic fibers and collagen fibers, resulting in a smooth and firm skin. The absorbable plastic lifting band(microlift)used in the minimally invasive SMAS lift can lift and reset the deep fat pad and other soft tissues in the face, which can improve the volume loss of soft tissues in the middle of the face to a certain extent and make the facial curve smooth and full.Minimally invasive SMAS lifting surgery uses absorbable plastic lifting straps(microlift)to anatomically reset the deep facial soft tissues while increasing the local soft tissue volume. However,in patients with serious facial senility, the results of both procedures are not good. |
