Objective:To investigate the efficacy and safety of acupuncture and acupoint massage on patients with constipation due to deficiency of Qi after apoplexy. In order to give full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine nursing, the standardized operation and flow of Qi deficiency constipation after apoplexy were explored. Methods:From January 2022 to July 2022,63 patients with constipation after apoplexy were randomly divided into test group and control group,31 cases and 32 cases. Both groups received routine treatment and care. The control group received oral lactulose(Dumik),10 ml each time,3 times a day.The experimental group was treated with oral lactulose and puncture massage at 7: 00-9: 00 a.m.Tianshu,Shangjuxu,Zhigou,Zusanli,Zhongwan,Xiwan,Qihai and Guanyuan points were repeatedly rubbed, then acupoint massage was carried out,the depth of massage was 1-2cm,each acupoint was pressed for 5 minutes, intervention time was 2 weeks.General data,Bristol stool trait score, clinical constipation score(CCS),PAC-QOL score were recorded before treatment.Bristol stool trait score and clinical constipation score(CCS)3,7 and 14 days after treatment.PAC-QOL scores were obtained 7 and 14 days after treatment and the results were statistically analyzed.Results:1.There was no significant difference between the two groups before intervention,Bristol stool trait score, clinical constipation score(CCS),PAC-QOL score(P>0.05).2.The difference of Bristol stool character score between the two groups before and after treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the difference of clinical score of constipation(CCS)was significant except for medical history(P<0.05)and PAC-QOL scores. The difference was statistically significant before and after intervention(P<0.05).3.The difference of Bristol stool trait score between the two groups after 3 days of intervention was not significant(P>0.05),and the difference of clinical score of constipation(CCS)was significant(P<0.05).4.Differences in stool trait scores between the two groups were statistically significant(P<0.05)after 7 days of intervention. The difference of CCS scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in PAC-QOL between the two groups(P>0.05).5.The difference in stool trait scores between the two groups was statistically significant 14 days after intervention(P<0.05).The difference of CCS scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference of PAC-QOL scores between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).6.The total effective rates of the experimental group and the control group were96.8% and 84.4%,respectively.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),confirming that the experimental group was superior to the control group. Conclusion :1.Acupuncture and acupoint massage combined with lactulose and the use of lactulose alone can improve the patient’s stool characteristics, frequency, duration, and abdominal pain symptoms, and the combined intervention is superior to the single lactulose intervention.2.Acupuncture and acupoint massage combined with lactulose and the use of lactulose alone can significantly improve the quality of life of patients with qi deficiency constipation after stroke, and the combined intervention is better than the single lactulose intervention. The two groups have good safety and no related adverse reactions.
