The Comparison Of Clinical Effects Between DAA-THA In Supine And Lateral Position

Background:In this research,we intended to evaluate the early clinical outcomes of total hip arthroplasty patients undergoing direct anterior(S-DAA)versus lateral(L-DAA)hip arthroplasty.Methods:The data of patients undergoing hip replacement surgery in the Department of Orthopedics of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanchang University from January2021 to September 2022 were collected as research objects.A total of 60 patients were randomly divided into the observation group(S-DAA group)(n=30)and the control group(L-DAA group)(n=30).The clinical results were collected and statistically analyzed.Results:(1)The patient’s gender,age,follow-up,fixation method,hip joint activity,and incision length did not have a significant impact on the test results(P>0.05).(2)DAA operation time in two different positions: there were significant differences in intraoperative blood loss,and limb length(P<0.05).(1)The operation time of L-DAA was shorter than that of S-DAA.(2)The intraoperative bleeding of L-DAA was less than that of S-DAA.(3)The difference in limb length after S-DAA was better than that of L-DAA.(3)There was no significant difference in postoperative VAS score between the two groups(P>0.05),and there was no significant difference in postoperative hip joint function score(Harris score)(P>0.05).(4)All patients had no surgical complications.Conclusion:Both S-DAA and L-DAA have achieved good clinical results,but L-DAA reduces the dependence on special instruments and folding operating tables during the operation,which is more convenient to operate,shorten the operation time,and more in line with the practice of posterior joint surgeons,but S-DAA has more advantages in controlling the difference in the length of the lower limbs.
