A Survey Of Primary Artificial Hip Jonit Arthroplasty Of Teaching Hospital Of Shandong University Of TCM

Objective: To analyze the information of patients, and discuss the indications, treatments before and after operation , complications of partial and total hip jiont arthroplasty for the first time,and in order to improve surgical skills.Methods: Choosing our hospital patients who were treated with artificial hip joint replacement from 2001 to 2005 by computer index and collecting the useful information by hands,while using the information of the storge house of equipment department in our hospital, then analysing the data by tables and spss 13.0.Results: The whole number of artificial hip jonit arthroplasty was 754 cases in which the number of total hip joint arthroplasty was 403 cases and the rest 351 cases were hip joints of artificial femoral-head replacement.There were 705 persons in all in which 49 persons were operated on both hip joints,with 47 persons were treated with total hip joint arthroplasty and 2 persons were treated with artificial femoral-head replacement.Conclusion: 1.The femoral neck fracture was the main idication of THA in recent 5 years in our hospital. 2.The fresh and old femoral neck fractures and the femoral intertrochanteric fractures were indications of artificial femoral-head replacement. 3.The number of female femoral neck fracture was 2.40 times of the male.The number of left femoral neck fracture was more than the right. 4.In the all joints the number of joints treated with bipolar femoral head was largest,the number of THA was in middle,and the number of joints treated with unipolar femoral head was least. There was no difference between the old of patients treated with unipolar and with bipolar femoral head whose diseases were femoral neck fracture.The old of patients of artificial femoral head replacement was older than the ones of the THA whose diseases were femoral neck fracture. 5.The number of joints treated with THA was largest ,and the number of joints treated with bipolar femoral head was in middle,while the number of joints treated with unipolar femoral head was the least in the all amount of joints. There was no difference between the old of patients treated with unipolar and with bipolar femoral head among all the patients.The old of patients of artificial femoral head replacement was older than the ones of the THA among all the patients. 6.The tendency of number of joints treated with uinpolar femoral head was declining,while the tendencies of bipolar femoral head, THA joints and all artificial hip joint arthropalasty were rising. 7.The incidence of DVT of lower limb was most among the chief complications during in hospital.we should take measures to do. 8.The artificial hip joint replacement was a way of safe operation.
