| The sustainable development of hospitals cannot be achieved without accurate medical record information,which can provide a large amount of analytical data for medical treatment,teaching,scientific research,epidemiology,health economics,etc.In recent years,with the continuous promotion of high-quality development requirements in public hospitals,the role of medical record information management in hospital management has become increasingly prominent.Under the promotion of policy guidance such as performance evaluation in public hospitals and reform of DRG medical insurance payment methods,the ability requirements for medical record department employees have been further improved.Based on the current uneven development of medical record departments in various provinces and cities across the country,the demand for high standard roles has driven the urgency of improving the abilities of medical record department practitioners.Therefore,it is necessary to conduct research on the ability improvement of medical record department employees in public hospitals.This study is based on existing policy requirements,literature research,and expert consultation to construct a competency element system for employees in hospital medical record departments.Taking Wuxi X Hospital as a case study,combined with theoretical exploration and empirical analysis,this paper describes the measures taken to improve the abilities of employees in the medical record department of Wuxi X Hospital.Through questionnaire survey,the current ability level of employees in the medical record department of Wuxi X Hospital is evaluated,and the result is that there is insufficient ability among employees in the medical record department of Wuxi X Hospital.The evaluation results are verified to be objective,reliable,and have a certain universality.On this basis,based on the Smith model and combined with the semi-structured interview method,the reasons for the insufficient abilities of medical record department employees at Wuxi X Hospital are summarized.This is mainly reflected in four aspects:insufficient policy soundness,lack of professional knowledge and implementation methods in executing agencies,insufficient identification and cooperation among target groups,and insufficient support for policy implementation environment.Finally,based on the cause analysis,propose corresponding countermeasures from special to general.Specifically,firstly,improve corresponding policies and mechanisms;Secondly,strengthen the effectiveness of policy execution by the main body;Thirdly,increase the support and recognition of the target group;Fourthly,improve the policy implementation environment. |
