ObjectiveThis study aims to investigate the nursing staff's compression capability and practice ability in tertiary A general hospitals, and analyze the impacts of demographic variables, nurse work-related Stressors and work burnout on compression capability and practice ability.Finding the correlation between compression capability and practice ability, and identifying factors that impact nurse compression capability,So it can provide some solutions for clinical nursing managers to carry out on-the-job education of nursing staff, standardized rotation training in departments, improve the practical ability of nursing staff in clinical work, relieve the pressure in clinical work.MethodsFour tertiary A general hospitals were selected with convenience sampling method, and 691 chlinical nurses were selected.the nurse general information questionnaire,The work pressure, work fatigue, practical ability and psychological flexibility of nurses were measured using the Nurse Work-related Stressors Scale, the Maslach Burnout Inventorygeneral Survey(MBI),the Nursing Staff Practical Aptitude Questionnaire, and the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale(CD-RISC)questionnaire survey.Descriptive analysis was used to analyze general infotmation of nursing.Levene homogeneity of variance test determined whether the results of compression capability and practice ability of nurses with different characteristics had homogeneity of variance, which complied with the homogeneity of variance were compared with analysis of variance. The statistically significant factors in the univariate analysis of the nurses' general data were independent variables, and the effect of the independent variables on the dependent variables wasanalyzed. The Pearson correlation coefficient was used to analyze nurses' work stressors and nurses' fatigue and the ability of the clinical nurses to resist stresss and practical ability,And the simultaneous analysis of the correlation between compression capability and practical ability.Results1.In the pressure-resistance of clinical nurses in tertiary A general hospitals in taian, the average psychological elasticity score was(83.76±16.96)points,in which the average toughness dimension was(3.33±0.71)points,and the mean strength dimension was(3.53±0.75)points,the average of optimism dimensions was(3.06±0.71)points.2.The average practical ability of clinical nurses was(79.00±8.80)points,of which the mean value of practical motivation was(77.20±8.82)points,the average of the specific practical ability was(79.60±8.78)points,and the average of the situational practical ability was(80.20±8.80)points.3.There was a statistically significant difference in the resistance of the nursing staff with different working years, departments and professional titles(P<0.05).The differences in the practical abilities of clinical nursing staff of different working years, sex, departments, and work nature were statistically significant(P < 0.05).4.Correlation analysis showed that there was a negative correlation between job stressors and work fatigue and mental elasticity of clinical nurses(P<0.05).There was also a negative correlation between the job stressors and work fatigue of clinical nurses and the performance ability of nursing staff(P<0.05),but there was a positive correlation between nurses' resistance to pressure and the performance of nursing staff(P<0.05).Conclusion1.The score of strength ability of the clinical nursing staff in the compression capacity was the highest, and the score of optimism was the lowest.2.Academic qualifications, departments, and professional titles had a significant impact on the anti-stress capabilities of clinical nurses.3.The value of the situational practice ability in clinical nursing staff's practical ability was the highest, and the value of practice motivation was the lowest.4.The number of years of work, gender, nature of work, and departments were the influencing factors of clinical nursing staff's practical ability.5.The higher the stress source and work fatigue of clinical nurses, the lower the pressure resistance;the higher the pressure source and work fatigue experienced by clinical nurses, the lower the practical ability;the higher the practical ability of clinical nurses, thebetter the compression resistance.6.Nursing managers should start from the aspects of self-decompression,environmental improvement, work intensity arrangement and establishment of support system,so as to enhance the ability of nursing staff to resist pressure.
