Objective:To observe and study the clinical effect of manipulation of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis of humerus, and to analyze the mechanism of manipulation of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones,so as to provide an effective reference for the treatment of lateral epicondylitis of humerus and a theoretical basis for the promotion of clinical treatment in the future. Methods:From December 2021 to December 2022,60 patients who met the criteria were selected from the outpatient department of Manipulation Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.Randomly divided into treatment group and control group,30 cases in each group. The treatment group was treated with manipulation of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones, and the control group was treated with traditional massage. Both groups were treated 3 times a week for 2 weeks,a total of 6 times. The pain visual analogue scale(VAS),Mayo elbow performance score(MEPS),and total extensor tendon(CET)elasticity were observed and compared before and after treatment to evaluate the improvement of symptoms and overall efficacy.Results:1.There was no significant difference in gender, age, course of disease,VAS score,MEPS score and CET elasticity value between the two groups before treatment(P>0.05).2.The VAS score,MEPS score and CET elasticity value of the two groups before and after treatment were compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The MEPS score of the treatment group was higher than that of the control group, and the VAS score and CET elasticity value were lower than those of the control group. It shows that the curative effect of the manipulation of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones is better than traditional massage.3.The VAS score,MEPS score and CET elasticity value of the two groups before and after treatment were compared within the group, and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),indicating that both treatment methods could improve the clinical symptoms of lateral epicondylitis.4.The total effective rate of the treatment group was 93.33%,and the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%.The difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both manipulation of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones and traditional massage can relieve elbow pain caused by external humeral epicondylitis, improve elbow function, and reduce the elasticity of total extensor tendon.2.The clinical effect of resetting the tendons, dredging the collaterals and adjusting the bones in the treatment of lateral epicondylitis of humerus is obviously better than that of traditional massage, which has high clinical application value.
