Clinical Study On The Treatment Of Allergic Rhinitis With Kidney Yang Deficiency By Du Moxibustion And Acupoint Application

Objective:To observe the clinical efficacy of Du moxibustion combined with acupoint application in the treatment of allergic rhinitis(AR)with kidney Yang deficiency,and to evaluate its effectiveness and safety,so as to provide certain reference for the clinical application of Du moxibustion combined with acupoint application in the treatment of AR.Methods:A total of 66 cases of AR patients were included in this study,and were randomly divided into the observation group(Du moxibustion combined with acupoint application treatment)and the control group(simple acupoint application treatment),33 cases each.Traditional Chinese medicine symptoms,signs,quality of life and serum IgE content of patients before and after treatment were observed,and the obtained data were compared and analyzed to evaluate the efficacy of Du moxibustion combined with acupoint application in the treatment of AR.Results:1.TCM clinical syndrome:intra-group comparison:in terms of symptoms,the single symptom scores of the main symptoms and secondary symptoms in the two groups after treatment were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05).In terms of physical signs,the scores of inferior turbinate enlargement after treatment were statistically different between the two groups compared with before treatment(P<0.05).In terms of total scores of TCM symptoms,there were statistical differences between the two groups after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups after treatment:in terms of symptoms,there were statistical differences between the two groups in sneezing,runny nose,nasal congestion,pale face,fatigue,cold limbs,waist and knee tenderness,edema,long urination,reduced sense of smell and other symptoms(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.There was no significant difference in nasal itch symptom score between the two groups(P>0.05).In terms of physical signs,there were statistical differences in the scores of inferior turbinate swelling between the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.In terms of total scores of TCM symptoms,there were statistical differences between the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.The total effective rate of the observation group was 93.75%,and that of the control group was 75.00%,with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).2.Quality of life:Intra-group comparison:RQLQ scores in the two groups were statistically different from those before treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups after treatment:there were statistical differences in RQLQ scores between the two groups(P<0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.In the observation group,the total effective rate was 93.75%in the observation group and 81.25%in the control group,with statistical difference between the two groups(P<0.05).3.Serum IgE content:Intra-group comparison:there were statistical differences in serum IgE content between the two groups after treatment compared with before treatment(P<0.05).Comparison between the two groups after treatment:there was a statistical difference in serum IgE content between the two groups(P>0.05),and the observation group was better than the control group.Conclusion:Du moxibustion combined with acupoint application can effectively treat AR,improve the clinical symptoms of TCM and quality of life of patients,and reduce serum IgE content,which is superior to acupoint application alone.
