| With the participating of dialysis treatment in the basic medical insurance, more and more patients begin to have dialysis treatment.According to the "2015-2020 China Hemodialysis Industry Development Prospect Forecast and Investment Strategy Planning Analysis Report" released by Forward Looking Industry Research Institute, more than 2million patients with end-stage renal disease in China need dialysis treatment. With the increasing dialysis patients, the problems between doctors and patients are gradually exposed. The patients of hemodialysis are different from that of the acute diseases, hemodialysis is a long-term treatment process for chronic diseases, patients suffering from long-term treatment pain, doctors also need to communicate closely with patients to establish a long-term strong relationship. Most of the existing researches focus on the one-time doctor-patient relationship, but ignore the long-term one.In this paper, eight patients and six nurses and doctors were interviewed by semi-structured interviews and participatory observation to study the basic doctor-patient relationship and the causes of doctor-patient conflict in hemodialysis treatment. In studies of treated patients, dialysis treatment is characterized by long-term,dangerous and uncertain conditions. The patients are in the normal social role and the patient role, facing great stress and challenges, patients will also demand more from doctors. After looking at doctors,it can be found that, because of the prolonged contact necessary for treatment, doctors and patients often form a passive "relationship,",doctors and patients have different perceptions of this relationship, this kind of misaligned interactions can lead to conflict, and these are also the main reasons why doctors avoid establishing relationships with patients. The large demand of patients and the job burnout of doctors are also the main reasons for the conflict between doctors and patients in hemodialysis treatment.Increasing the emotional care of patients in treatment and further protecting the rights of doctors can help build a good relationship between patients and doctors. |
