Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Senile Damp-Heat Cough By Adding Shangjiao Xuanbi Decoction

Objective: In this study,by comparing shangjiao Xuanbi decoction added medicinal flavor and Chinese patent medicine Juhong pill,the clinical efficacy of the two groups of drugs in the treatment of senile damp-heat cough was observed,providing new ideas for the clinical treatment of damp-heat cough based on syndrome differentiation.Methods: 60 subjects who met the inclusion criteria were selected from December 2020 to December 2021.Random number table method was used to divide the subjects into two groups: treatment group and control group with 30 cases each.The treatment group was given Shangjiao Xuanbi decoction added medicinal flavor,1 dose a day,divided in the morning and evening.The control group was given Juhong pills,2 pills each time,twice a day.Both groups were treated for two weeks.The cough symptom score,TCM syndrome score,cough visual analog scale(VAS)score and Leicester cough quality of life score(LCQ)were observed in 2groups,and the clinical efficacy of drugs in the treatment of senile damp heat cough was compared between the two groups.Results1 Before treatment,there were no statistically significant differences in gender,age and disease course distribution between the two groups,and there were no statistically significant differences in scores.2 After treatment,the treatment group of cough symptoms integral,TCM syndrome total score,VAS scores were lower than the control group,P < 0.05,the LCQ rating of the treatment group is higher than the control group,P < 0.05.For the improvement of the symptoms of TCM syndromes,cough and expectoration of the main symptoms,itching of pharynx,bitter mouth,dry mouth of the secondary symptoms,both groups improved,the score of the treatment group was lower than the control group,P < 0.05.There was no significant improvement in epigastric abdominal distention and sticky stool between the two groups(P > 0.05),with no statistical significance.3 After treatment,the total curative effect of the treatment group and the control group was 93.3% and 76.67%,respectively,P < 0.05,the difference was statistically significant,the total curative effect of the treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion: Shangjiao Xuanbi Decoction has the effect of relieving lung depression,clearing heat and reducing dampness.Shangjiao Xuanbi Decoction added medicinal flavor can also have the effects of resolving phlegm,regulating qi,nourishing Yin and tonifying.It is superior to Juhong pill in the clinical effect of treating dampness and heat cough in the elderly,so that the clinical symptoms of patients are significantly improved,and the quality of life is improved.
