With the continuous advancement and development of China’s medical system reform,the service content and business philosophy of hospitals have undergone tremendous changes.Under this background,many hospital managers began to focus on how to improve the core competitiveness of hospitals,which requires hospital managers to accurately grasp the hospital situation and make correct decisions.However,it is difficult to make accurate judgments and decisions only by hospitals managers’ own strength.If hospital staff can actively offer suggestions and put forward some problems that that need to be improved in hospital specific work,it will be beneficial to improve the competitiveness of hospitals.However,not all hospital employees will actively report problems to the hospital administrators,and some hospital employees remain silent about their opinions and ideas,which is the phenomenon of hospital employees’ silence.Only by correctly analyzing the reasons for the silence of hospital staff and putting forward relevant countermeasures,can hospital staff actively put forward their own ideas and suggestions,and promote the development of the hospital.Based on the analysis of employees’ silence behavior in N hospital,this paper sorts out the research achievements and current situation of domestic and foreign scholars on silence behavior and silence behavior of hospital employees by consulting domestic and foreign literature.On this basis,taking the employees of N Hospital as the research object,the actual research work of silence behavior was carried out.In this paper,the employee silence scale designed by Zheng Xiaotao,Ke Jianglin,etc.is used as a measuring tool,which is conceived and designed based on the current situation of employee silence behavior in Chinese context.In this study,questionnaires were randomly distributed to 300 employees in N Hospital.Statistical results show that the average silence behavior of employees in N hospital is 3.1944,and there is moderate silence behavior.In order to further explore the reasons behind the silence behavior,the author conducted a small-scale individual interview with employees in N Hospital.According to the interview results,the influencing factors of employees’ silence behavior in N Hospital can be summarized as follows: First,At the individual level,personal power distance orientation,job satisfaction and psychological security affect employees’ silence behavior.Secondly,At the organizational level,low sense of organizational support and traditional management mode affect employees’ silence behavior.Third,At the leadership level,authoritarian leadership has a great influence on employees’ silence behavior.Fourthly,At work level,working pressure is an important influencing factor of employees’ silence behavior in N Hospital.Based on the analysis of the above factors,combined with the actual situation of N Hospital,the author puts forward the countermeasures to solve the silent behavior: First,At the individual level,take corresponding measures to reduce personal power distance orientation,improve employees’ job satisfaction and enhance employees’ psychological security.Secondly,At the organizational level,through various measures to enhance the sense of organizational support,optimize the hospital management mode,and implement the people-oriented magnetic management mode.Third,At the leadership level,dilute the authoritarian image of leaders through a series of measures.Fourthly,At the working level,improve the working environment and practice environment of medical staff,and pay attention to their job burnout,and relieve their work pressure.In this paper,the author analyzes the status quo and influencing factors of employees’ silence behavior in N Hospital,and puts forward corresponding countermeasures,which is beneficial to alleviate the status quo of employees’ silence behavior in N Hospital,promote employees’ active offer advice and suggestions,and put forward their own problems in work in time,so as to improve the core competitiveness of N Hospital at all levels and promote its continuous improvement and development.
