Objective:By comparing with traditional acupuncture therapy,this study will verify the clinical efficacy and safety of acupuncture at the intrinsic lingual muscles mainly in the treatment of oral dysphagia after stroke,aim to provide a more safe and effective treatment plan for clinical practice.Methods:72 patients who come from Department of Acupuncture and Moxibustion Fourth Ward,The Second Affiliated Hospital of Heilongjiang University of Chinese Medicine and met the inclusion criteria were selected and randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each with 36 cases.Patients in both groups were given basic treatment such as drug and rehabilitation training.In addition,the patients in treatment group were with acupuncture at intrinsic lingual muscles maily,and the control group received traditional acupuncture treatment.All patients were treated once a day for 6 consecutive days a week,and the treatment lasted for 4 weeks.All patients were measured WST grade,FOIS grade,oral function score,oral stage score of VFSS and swallowing function grade before and after treat.meanwhile,adverse events were recorded during the trial.Finally,these data were analyzed by statistical methods to compare the clinical efficacy and safety of the two groups.Result:1.After 4 weeks of treatment,the WST grade,FOIS grade,oral function score and oral stage score of VFSS of patients in two groups were improved compared with before treatment,and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.01).2.after 4 weeks of treatment,there were statistically significant differences(P<0.05)in the WST grade,FOIS grade,oral function score and oral stage score of VFSS between two groups.There were no serious adverse occurrence,and the safety evaluation showed that both treatment were safe,and the difference was not statistically significant(P>0.05).3.After 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate was 91.43% in the treatment group and 70.59% in the control group,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Both acupuncture at the intrinsic lingual muscles maily and traditional acupuncture are safe,feasible and effective in the treatment of oral dysphagia after stroke.2.The effect of acupuncture at the intrinsic lingual muscles maily in the treatment of oral dysphagia after stroke is better than traditional acupuncture,which is deserve to clinical promotion.
