Curative Observation Of Tongue Acupuncture’s Treatment On Dysphagia After Stroke

Object This study adopts acupuncture to treat stroke patient with dysphasia. Through observing patient’s video fluoroscopy swallowing study(VFSS) before and after treatment to match Rosenbke’s change of meter level in aspiration level, verify the clinical efficacy of tongue acupuncture therapy, we discuss the functional mechanism of this therapy and provide a basis for clinical application.Methods Randomly divide 60 stroke patients with dyphagia accorded with the inclusive criteria into treatment group and control group, and each group has 30 patients. In treatment group, bloodletting therapy in heart point of. tongue and acupuncture Lianquan point combined with Xingnao Kaiqiao method with acupuncture as well as rehabilitation are adopted. In control group,the mere rehabilitation is adopted. There are 3 weeks in each course and 5 times per week. Taking VF$ S combined with Rosenbke’s meter level in aspiration level as well as the rate of aspiration pneumonia before and after treatment as observation index, conduct curative observation on before and after treatment of each group. Statistic processing was conducted on collected data after the treatment.Results There is no significant difference between general information of two groups, such as age, sex,course(p>0.05). And there is no significant difference between two groups in rating of meter level of aspiration level with VFSS before treatment. This means these two groups are comparable. After treatment, for both treatment group and control group, the rating of meter level of aspiration level with VFSS has been improved (p<0.0.5). What’s more, the rating of the treatment group is prior to that of the control group.Conclusion 1、This study indicates tongue acupuncture combined with rehabilitation as well as mere rehabilitation are both beneficial for the treatment of dysphagia after stroke.2、The efficacy of tongue acupuncture combined with rehabilitation is better than that of mere rehabilitation in treating dysphagia after stroke.3、The efficacy of adopting tongue acupuncture to treat dysphagia after stroke is positive and safe. And this therapy can better control complications as well as reduce the occurrence of disability and death probity. So it has a significant advantage and is worth to further promoting and studying.
