ObjectiveThis study investigated the family members of patients with depression(diagnostic criteria refer to ICD-10),and described the resilience,social support and mental health status of the family members of patients with depression;To explore the influencing factors of psychological elasticity,social support and mental health of family members of patients with depression;To explore the relationship between resilience,social support and mental health of family members of patients with depression.To provide basis and guidance for clinical practice to enhance the psychological rebound ability of patients’ family members,effectively use social support resources,and ensure the mental and physical health and stable development of patients’ family members.MethodThe subjects were 184 family members of depression patients who were treated in the first specialized hospital of Harbin from September 2021 to February 2022.They were investigated with self-designed demographic questionnaire,Connor-Davidson resilience scale(Chinese version),social support rate scale and Self-rated Health Measurement Scale Versionl.After all the questionnaires were collected,4 patients’ family members were randomly selected for interview.After all the questionnaire data are entered into excel,SPSS 25.0 statistical software is used for data analysis.The statistical methods include descriptive analysis,independent sample t-test,one-way ANOVA,Pearson correlation analysis,etc.At the same time,the interview content was transcribed,analyzed and refined in a short time.ResultQuestionnaire survey:1.The average scores of resilience,social support and mental health were 57.24 ± 18.32,33.13 ± 9.69 and 75.86 ± 18.37 respectively.2.There were significant differences in age,educational level,occupation,current residence,average monthly family income,average daily care time,and the settlement method of medical expenses among the family members of patients with depression(p<0.05);3.There were significant differences in gender,marital status,history of chronic diseases and average monthly income of family members of patients with depression(p<0.05);4.There were significant differences in gender,marital status,history of chronic diseases and average monthly income of family members of patients with depression(p<0.05);5.There is a correlation among the three indicators of psychological elasticity,social support and mental health of the family members of patients with depression.Interview method:1.A variety of inner emotions are complex and interwoven;2.Social support demand;3.Excessive care pressure and serious physiological overdraft.Conclusion1.The resilience of the family members of patients with depression is low,and they have no good rebound ability after experiencing difficulties;2.The ability of understanding,acquiring and utilizing social support of the patient’s family members is weak,and the mental health level of the patient’s family members is poor;3.There is a correlation among the three indicators of mental health,resilience and social support of the family members of patients with depression.When the family members of patients with depression can quickly recover from adversity and make rational use of the social support system,it will help to maintain a good mental state. |
