Objective:This study investigated the family members of patients admitted to the ICU for treatment,to understand the development status of the family members in the areas of resilience,social support and mental health,To explore the differences of family resilience,social support and mental health in general demographic characteristics;Analyze the correlation among resilience,social support and mental health.To provide theoretical support for medical staff to formulate relevant clinical nursing measures for patients' family members.Methods:The study used convenience sampling method to select the families of patients admitted to the comprehensive ICU of yanji third-level first-class hospital from July 1 to November 1,2018 as the research objects,and met the inclusion and exclusion criteria in the study design.In this study,290 questionnaires were distributed and 276 valid questionnaires were collected,with an effective recovery rate of 96.8%.In the survey,the general demographic questionnaire,the mental resilience scale compiled by Connor and Davidson,the social support rating scale compiled by xiao shuiyuan,and the mental health subscale in the self-test rating scale compiled by xu jun were adopted After the questionnaire was collected,it was input into Excel form and then imported into SPSS19.0 database for statistical processing.The statistical methods used include statistical description,t test or non-parametric test,variance analysis,Pearson analysis and other methods.Results:(1)In this study,the total score of resilience of 276 patients' family members was(63.13±12.79).The scores of the three dimensions were tenacity(32.37±6.24),self-improvement(21.50±4.21)and optimism(10.13±2.47).There were differences between family resilience and age,education level,family residence,average monthly income of the patient's family,and payment method(P<0.05).(2)In this study,the total social support score of 276 patients' family members was(35.96±7.26).The scores of the three dimensions were subjective support(20.20±3.51),objective support(9.46±2.20)and support utilization rate(6.96±2.07).There were significant differences between family members' social support,age,education level,marital status,family residence,average monthly income of the patien's family and payment method(P<0.05).(3)In this study,the total mental health score of 276 patients' family members was(102.03±6.89).The scores of the three dimensions were positive emotion(42.30±2.45),psychological symptoms and negative emotion(21.13±3.63),and cognitive function(14.90±2.62).There were significant differences in mental health among family members in terms of gender,age,education level,family residence,average monthly income of patients'families and payment methods(P<0.05).(4)Resilience of family members is positively correlated with mental health(r=0.903,P<0.01),social support is positively correlated with mental health(r=0.839,P<0.01),and resilience is positively correlated with social support(r=0.869,P<0.01).Conclusions:(1)The resilience level of ICU patients' family members tends to be lower than the average.(2)The mental health level of ICU patients' families tends to be moderate.(3)The social support level of ICU patients' family members is medium.(4)The mental health of family caregivers of ICU patients is related to social support and resilience.Good social support and high resilience are beneficial to the mental health of family caregivers.
