Investigation On Public Awareness Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Under The Background Of Epidemic Prevention And Control

With the outbreak of the novel coronavirus pneumonia in 2020,The Communist Party of China and the State quickly made arrangements to prevent and control the epidemic,giving full play to the unique role of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and control of the epidemic.Whether it is the prevention and control of traditional Chinese medicine in the emergency phase of the epidemic or the active and effective intervention of traditional Chinese medicine in the prevention and control of the epidemic,TCM has presented a satisfactory response to the Party and the people,contributing to the "Chinese wisdom" with unique characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.Based on the background of epidemic prevention and control,this paper investigates the public’s awareness of traditional Chinese medicine in Heilongjiang Province.In the form of online questionnaire,it investigates from three dimensions:concept dimension cognition,emotion dimension cognition and behavior dimension cognition,to master the public’s demand and utilization of traditional Chinese medicine under the normalized epidemic prevention and control,and analyzes the influencing factors of the public’s awareness of traditional Chinese medicine through statistical data differentiation analysis.The study found that most people maintain a high degree of understanding of the conceptual and emotional dimensions of Chinese medicine,and actively obtain Knowledge and Information of Chinese Medicine through various channels,and trust the efficacy and form of Chinese medicine.However,in terms of behavioral tendencies,the people’s autonomy and initiative are poor,and the preferred treatment method is the combination of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine,which has a certain impact on the degree of use of traditional Chinese medicine.Among the three cognitive dimensions,the idea dimension was the highest mean,followed by the emotion dimension,and the lowest behavioral dimension.In addition,there were significant differences in the awareness of the age,education and occupation of the people and the three dimensions,and there were significant differences in the cognition of the dimensions of medical education background and concept,while there was no significant impact on gender and the awareness of the people in cities and traditional Chinese medicine.Through sorting out the relevant issues,we can further analyze the problems such as the weak service capacity of traditional Chinese medicine at the grass-roots level,the lack of multi angle cognition of traditional Chinese medicine,the lack of rigor in the popularization and dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine,and the governance mechanism for traditional Chinese medicine to participate in public health emergencies.In view of the existing problems,this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions to improve the service capacity of grass-roots traditional Chinese medicine,strengthen the multi angle cognition of traditional Chinese medicine,strengthen the popularization and dissemination of traditional Chinese medicine,and improve the governance mechanism of traditional Chinese medicine participating in public health emergencies.Promote public awareness of traditional Chinese medicine,better promote the transformation of traditional Chinese medicine from creativity to innovative development,and promote the better integration of traditional Chinese medicine into the infectious disease prevention and control system.
