Clinical Study Of Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation(Deficiency Of Intestinal Dryness And Body Fluid)

Objective:To investigate the clinical efficacy of Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation(FC),evaluate its effectiveness and safety,and further study the mechanism of Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction in the treatment of this disease,so as to provide a clinical reference for the treatment of functional constipation in Traditional Chinese medicine.Methods: From October 2020 to October 2021,patients with functional constipation who were dialectically characterized by intestinal dryness and deficit type were collected from October 2020 to October 2021 in the outpatient and inpatient departments of the Second Department of Gastroenterology of The Affiliated Hospital of Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,and randomly dividing the 60 patients with functional constipation(Deficiency of intestinal dryness and body fluid)who met the inclusion criteria into treatment group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction,the control group took lactulose oral solution for treatment,the treatment courses of both two groups were 4 weeks.during the treatment process,both groups of patients were required to maintain a healthy living habits,go to bed early and get up early,eat a healthy and diverse diet,often eat fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables,drink water in moderation,do not eat spicy and irritating foods,do not smoke and drink wine.defecate on time every day,even if there is no intention to defecate,they must develop the habit of defecating at a fixed time every day,moderate aerobic exercise,do not stay in a sitting or lying position for a long time,and maintain a happy mood.Pay attention to observe and record the symptoms of patients before taking the drug,after taking the drug and after taking the drug for 1 month,and then use SPSS26.0 software for statistical analysis to compare the severity of the disease,total effective rate,change of symptom score and recurrence rate of both two groups.During the study period,it is necessary to carefully observe whether there will be adverse reactions and toxic side effects.Results:(1)Effective rate: after 4 weeks of treatment,the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67%,and the control group was 70.00%,P <0.01,which is significantly different,indicating that the effect of Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation(Deficiency of intestinal dryness and body fluid)is obviously higher than the treatment effect of lactutose.(2)Symptoms: Comparison of symptom scores and total scores in the treatment group after taking the drug for four weeks and before taking the drug: it was found that all Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom scores were significantly reduced after taking the drug for four weeks(P < 0.01),and the total score was also significantly decreased(P < 0.01).It can be seen that the treatment group has a significant effect on the treatment of each symptom.The comparison of the symptom scores and total scores of the control group after taking the drug for four weeks and before taking the drug: it can be concluded that although the scores of each Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom and the total score have decreased after taking the drug,the scores in terms of restlessness and decreased appetite are not significantly reduced.P < 0.01 in terms of dry stool,less frequent defecation,difficulty in passing stool,abdominal distension(or)abdominal pain and total score,P < 0.05 in terms of dry mouth and desire to drink,P > 0.05 in terms of restlessness and decreased appetite,indicating the control group had significant curative effect in treating dry stool,less defecation frequency,difficulty in passing stool,abdominal distension(or)abdominal pain,and had obvious curative effect in treating dry mouth and desire to drink,but had no advantage in treating restlessness and loss of appetite.Comparison of the symptom scores and total scores between the two groups after taking the medicine for four weeks: the symptom scores and total scores of the treatment group were all lower than those of the control group.After inspection,P < 0.05 in terms of the symptoms of dry stool,fewer bowel movements,difficulty in passing stool,abdominal distension(or)abdominal pain,upset and restlessness,P > 0.05 in terms of dry mouth and desire to drink and decreased appetite,P <0.01 in terms of total score.The comparison between the two groups shows that the treatment group has advantages in treating dry stool,less frequent defecation,difficulty in expelling stool,abdominal distention(or)abdominal pain,and upset symptoms,and the overall curative effect is more obvious.There was no significant difference in efficacy between the two groups in treating dry mouth and desire to drink and decreased appetite.(3)Recurrence rate: According to the recurrence of the patients after 4 weeks of drug withdrawal in the two groups,the recurrence rate was 52.4% in the control group and the treatment group was 19.2%,P=0.017(P <0.05),the recurrence of the functional constipation under the treatment of Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction is less,and the long-term effect is good.(4)Safety: There were no safety-related problems such as toxic side effects and adverse reactions during the study period in both groups of patients,Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction and lactulose have good safety.Conclusion: Jiajian Zhengye Runchang Decoction has obvious clinical efficacy for improving the main clinical symptoms and secondary clinical symptoms of patients with functional constipation of intestinal dryness and deficit type,and the recurrence rate is low,there is no safety problem in the research process,and it has clinical reference value,which is worth learning and promoting.
