Clinical Observation Of Yuxue Runchang Decoction In The Treatment Of Functional Constipation Due To Blood Deficiency And Intestinal Dryness

Objective:This study aims to observe the clinical efficacy of Yuxuerunchang Decoction in the treatment of functional constipation with blood deficiency and intestinal dryness,and evaluate it from the aspects of effective rate,recurrence rate,TCM syndrome integral,safety,etc.,and provide reference for clinical treatment of functional constipationMethods:65 patients with blood deficiency and intestinal dryness type functional constipation were randomly divided into a treatment group of 33 cases and a control group of 32 cases.The treatment group was treated with Yuxue Runchang Decoction,and the control group was treated with lactulose.The course of treatment was 4 weeks.The curative effects of clinical symptoms,TCM syndromes,TCM syndrome scores,recurrence rate,and three major routine Safety indicators such as liver and kidney function,electrolytes,electrocardiogram,etc.,were evaluated for the efficacy and safety of the two groups.Results:1.Comparison of clinical symptoms and efficacy:The total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.7%,including 2 cured,18 markedly effective,6 effective,4 ineffective,and 3 lost;the total effective rate of the control group was 73.7%,of which 0 were cured.6 cases were markedly effective,16 cases were effective,8 cases were ineffective,and 2 cases were absent;there was a significant difference in the total effective rate between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.2.Comparison of efficacy of TCM syndromes:Compared with before treatment,the scores of TCM syndromes of the two groups after treatment were lower than before,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group(P=0.000<0.05).The treatment group was significantly better than the control group in improving the six symptoms of defecation interval,defecation characteristics,defecation effort,dizziness,tinnitus,red cheeks,hot flashes and night sweats(P<0.05).3.Comparison of recurrence rate:effective cases were followed up 1 month after the end of treatment.The treatment group followed up 26 cases,3 cases recurred,the recurrence rate was 11.5%,and the control group followed up 22 cases,8 cases recurred,and the recurrence rate was 36.4%.Chi-square test showed that there was a difference in the recurrence rate between the two groups(P<0.05),and the recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than the control group.4.Safety comparison:After treatment,there were no abnormalities in the three major routines,liver and kidney function,and electrocardiogram in the two groups,and no adverse events occurred in the two groups.It can be seen that the two groups of drugs are safe and effective in treating this disease.Conclusion:1.Yuxue Runchang Decoction has definite curative effect in treating functional constipation of blood deficiency and intestinal dryness,and can effectively alleviate clinical symptoms.2.Yuxue Runchang Decoction can significantly shorten the time between defecation,change the characteristics of defecation,reduce the intensity of defecation,dizziness,tinnitus,red and red cheeks,hot flashes and night sweats and other symptoms.3.Yuxue Runchang Decoction for the treatment of FC with blood deficiency and intestinal dryness has a low recurrence rate,good long-term curative effect and is safe and reliable,and is worthy of clinical application.
