Objective:To observe the effect of acupoint ironing and sticking therapy on hypothermia in patients undergoing lumbar surgery under general anesthesia,in order to provide some reference for the prevention and treatment of perioperative hypothermia. Methods:Patients with lumbar spine surgery under total intravenous anesthesia were selected from the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from 2021.06 to 2021.12,aged 35 to 70 years old,and ASA(American Society of Anesthesiologists)grades I-II.According to the random number table method, they were divided into acupoint ironing and sticking therapy plus routine body temperature nursing group(group A)and routine body temperature nursing group(group C).Immediately after entering the operating room,a sterilized temperature probe was placed in the patient’s rectum through the anus, and the basal core body temperature(T0)was measured when the patient entered the room.Group C was given routine body temperature nursing, while group A was given routine body temperature nursing, and after measuring T0,ironing therapy was applied to Dazhui,Guanyuan,Yongquan and Zusanli on both sides.Record T0(at the time of entering the room),T1(before induction of anesthesia),T2(30 minutes after induction of anesthesia),T3(60 minutes after induction of anesthesia),T4(90 minutes after induction of anesthesia),T5(end of surgery),Data such as body temperature at T6(leaving the operating room)and T7(leaving the recovery room after 30 minutes),the number of people with hypothermia and chills, and the recovery time from general anesthesia. Results:In the end,70 patients were completely collected, and there were35 patients in both groups A and C.There was no significant difference in age, height, weight, operation time, anesthesia time, infusion volume and gender between group A and group C(P>0.05).Compared between groups, there was no significant difference in body temperature between the two groups at T0,T1,and T2(P>0.05).At T3-T7,the average body temperature of group A was significantly higher than that of group C,and there was a statistical difference(P>0.05).The average body temperature of patients in group A was always>36℃,and the average body temperature of patients in group C at time T4-T7was<36℃;intra-group comparison, the body temperature at time T1-T7in group A and group C was the same as that at time T0in the same group.Compared with the decrease in body temperature, there is a statistical difference(*P<0.05),and there is a statistical difference compared with the body temperature at the previous moment in this group(#P<0.05);The body temperature showed a downward trend with the operation, and the body temperature of group A decreased less than that of group C;the body temperature of group A and group C showed an upward trend from T6to T7,and the increase of body temperature of group A was greater than that of group C.The incidences of hypothermia in group A and group C were 37.1%(13/35)and 62.9%(22/35)respectively,and the incidences of postoperative chills were 2.9%(1/35)and 17.1%(6/35)respectively,the recovery time was(13.91±5.98)min and(18.09±5.18)min respectively, with statistical difference(P<0.05).There was no statistical difference in heart rate and mean arterial pressure between groups A and C(P>0.05).Conclusion:Acupoint ironing and sticking therapy can effectively prevent the incidence of hypothermia in patients undergoing lumbar surgery under general anesthesia, reduce the incidence of postoperative chills, and shorten the recovery time from general anesthesia.
