| Objective:to study the protection of transcutaneous electrical acupoint stimulation(TEAS)on intraoperative body temperature in patients undergoing spinal surgery under general anesthesia, and to observe its effects on blood glucose, circulatory system, the waking time after general anesthesia, chills after waking, and postoperative wound infection rate. Methods:a total of 120 patients undergoing spinal surgery under general anesthesia in the affiliated hospital of shandong university of traditional Chinese medicine from May 2019 to January 2020 were randomly divided into transcutanclus electrical acupoint stimulation group(T group),transcutanclus electrical non-acupoint stimulation group(S group),sham stimulation group(N group)and blank control group(C group),with 30 cases in each group. In group T,the patients were selected to have acupoint stimulation at dazhui, one side of the neiguan, zusanli and taixi acupoint with dilatational wave. The stimulation started 30 minutes before anesthesia and lasted until the end of the operation. The stimulation site of group S was the high bone protuberance near the acupuncture point, where no acupoint was ensured. The stimulation waveform, intensity, frequency and time were the same as those of group T.In group N,the acupoint selection and location were the same as those in the group T.Point selection and localization in group N were the same as that in group T,with the same steps of adhesive electrodes, but no actual electrical stimulation was applied to the acupoints.Patients in group C were not given electrodes or any stimulation.Record the temperature, heart rate and blood pressure, blood glucose at 5 time points:before TEAS(T0),30 minutes after TEAS(T1),before skin cutting(T2),1 hour during the surgery(T3),revive after the general anesthesia(T4),as well as waking time, chasm incidence after revive and wound infection rate after the surgery. Results:the incidence of hypothermia, hyperglycemia, chills in the group T were significantly lower than the other three groups, the wakening time after general anesthesia, wound infection rate were either significantly lower than the other three groups. The body temperature, blood sugar, heart rate, blood pressure, incidence of chills, wakening time after general anesthesia, wound infection rate of group N,S,C had no statistical difference. Conclusion:The decrease of body temperature and the incidence of hypothermia in group T were significantly lower than those in the other three groups, and the difference was statistically significant at t3-t4(P<0.05).The increase of blood glucose in group T was significantly lower than that in the other three groups, and the difference was statistically significant at t2-t4(P<0.05),Meanwhile,the incidence of hyperglycemia in group T in T3 and T4 was significantly lower than that in the other three groups and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).The awaking time and the incidence of chills after awakening of T group were significantly lower than the other three groups and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The fluctuation of heart rate and blood pressure in group T was smaller than that in the other three groups, but there was no significant statistical difference(P>0.05).There was no significant statistical difference between the N,S and C groups(P>0.05),and shorten the awakening time of general anesthesia. |
