Application Of Acupoint Sticking Therapy In Patients With Heat Toxin And Blood Stasis After Retinal Detachment Surgery

Objective Applying traditional Chinese medicine acupoint sticking therapy to patients with retinal detachment after reattachment,verifying the effect of acupoint sticking therapy on the pain and other discomforts after retinal detachment,improving postoperative satisfaction,reducing patient suffering and improving postoperative quality of life.Methods A total of 102 patients with retinal reattachment who volunteered to participate in the study project from January 2018 to June 2018 in a hospital in Hangzhou,selected a computer-generated random number.The patients were included in the blank control group and the barley comfort group according to random numbers.The experimental group,each group of 34 cases;the experiment was a single-blind method,the operation was carried out by the researcher himself and the ophthalmology responsible team leader,the operators were trained by appropriate techniques and acupoint training.All the three groups were routinely treated with retinal surgery.The blank control group was not applied with acupoints.The experimental group was applied with acupuncture points on the basis of conventional treatment(self-made by Chinese medicine practitioners)for 48 hours.The barley control group was based on conventional treatment.Placebo application(barley flour homemade,contour consistent with the experimental group)was used for 48 h.Specific methods:After returning to the ward after surgery,the treatment was carried out by the bed of the responsible group,taking Hegu and Neiguan points of the upper limbs,and Zusanli and Taichong points of the lower limbs,a total of 8 acupoints.After the acupoint application was removed for 24 hours,the local acupoint rested for 1 hour,and the responsible team leader replaced the new application for a total of two days.The evaluator evaluates another responsible nurse who does not know the patient group,and the language of the mission is unified.The pain scores of tte three groups of patients were returned to the ward within 1 h,4 h,8 h,12 h,16 h,20 h,24 h,and 48 h after surgery.The nausea and vomiting and anxiety scores of the three groups were measured before and 48 h after the intervention.Sleep score.Results(1)The acupoint sticking therapy was applied to patients with ophthalmic retinal detachment.The pain scores at lh,4h,8h,12h,16h,20h,24h and 48h were statistically significant(P<0.05).(2)In the case of nausea and vomiting,the incidence of blank control group was 28.12%within 48 hours after operation,12.12%in barley-assisted group,and 6.25%in experimental group.(3)The anxiety scores of the three groups of patients at 48 hours after operation were statistically significant(P<0.05).(4)The sleep status scores of the three groups were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions(1)The self-made traditional Chinese medicine acupoint stick application is applied to patients after retinal detachment,which has obvious intervention effect on postoperative pain and quicker on relieving pain.(2)homemade acupoint sticking has a relief effect on postoperative nausea and vomiting.(3)homemade Chinese medicine acupoint sticking has a relief effect on postoperative anxiety.(4)homemade Chinese medicine acupoint sticking has improved the postoperative sleep condition and improved the quality of life.
