Retrospective Study On The Treatment Of Common Diseases Of Otorhinolaryngology With Cupping Moxibustion And Sanfu Plaster

Objective: Using the method of retrospective analysis,this paper explores the improvement degree of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster on the symptoms of four common diseases in otorhinolaryngology,and then discusses its clinical efficacy,so as to provide a scientific basis for the promotion of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster technology in the future.Methods: According to the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria of the study,we sorted out and screened the patients who were treated in the otorhinolaryngology clinic of the Affiliated Hospital of Shandong University of traditional Chinese medicine during the Sanfu days from 2019 to 2021 and treated with Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster for allergic rhinitis,atopic cough,chronic rhinitis and Snoring in children.And the selected patients were divided into four groups according to the type of disease.The patients in each group were treated with the corresponding Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster prescription during the treatment period,Allergic rhinitis group and atopic cough group were treated with Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-1 Prescription;The chronic rhinitis group was treated with Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-2 Prescription;The Snoring in children group was treated with Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-3 Prescription.The symptom scores and Visual Analogue Scale of patients in each group before and after treatment were collected in the form of outpatient follow-up or telephone return visit.The data were analyzed by IMB-SPSS25.0 software,and the clinical efficacy was explored retrospectively.Results: 1.After treatment with Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plast,the individual symptom scores,total scores and visual analogue scale of patients in allergic rhinitis group,atopic cough group and children’s snoring group decreased significantly compared with those before the treatment,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.001).In the chronic rhinitis group,the scores of nasal congestion,runny nose,dizziness and headache,dry throat and sore throat were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.001),and there was no significant difference in the scores of anosmia compared with those before treatment(P>0.05);The total symptom score and visual analogue Scale of chronic rhinitis group were significantly lower than those before treatment(P<0.001).2.The total effective rate of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-1Prescription in the treatment of allergic rhinitis was 78.09%,that of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-1 Prescription in the treatment of atopic cough was 76.62%,that of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-2Prescription in the treatment of chronic rhinitis was 70.21%,and that of Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster-3 Prescription in the treatment of snoring in children was 73.02%.Conclusion: Cupping moxibustion and Sanfu plaster therapy can significantly improve the symptoms of patients with allergic rhinitis,atopic cough,chronic rhinitis and snoring in children.The clinical treatment is effective and worthy of popularization and application.
