Clinical Observation On Sanfu-moxibustion Combining With Liujunzi Decoction In Treating Chronic Bronchitis With Syndrome Of Spleen And Lung-qi Deficiency

ObjectiveTo compare the clinical efficacy of sanfu-moxibustion combining with liujunzi decoction and liujunzi decoction alone in treating the Chronic Bronchitis patients with Syndrome of spleen and lung-qi deficiency.MethodSixty patients in clinical remission of chronic bronchitis with syndrome of spleen and lung-qi deficiency that meet the inclusion criteria were enrolled in this study.Patients were divided into treatment group(30 cases)and control group(30 cases)at random.In treatment group,patients were treated with sanfu-moxibustion in the early volt,the first volt,the volt,the strengthen volt and the last volt of Canicular days solar terms in 2017,respectively,and also treated with Liujunzi decoction from the start of sanfu-moxibustion,taking for five days and rest for two days and repeating for six times in total.Patients in control group were treated with Liujunzi decoction only,with the same prescription and administration of the treatment group.Recorded the scores of cough,sputum,wheezing,the number of acute episodes and cold points,and detected lung function before and after treatment.SPSS 19.0 statistical software was used for data analysis.Result1.There was no statistically significant difference in single syndrome score,total score,number of acute episodes,cold points and lung function between two groups of patients before treatment(P>0.05).2.Patients in both groups were improved in TCM(Traditional Chinese Medicinel)syndrome points including cough,sputum,wheezing after treatment(P<0.01);the cough score,sputum score and total score in treatment group were better than that in control group(P<0.05),but there was no difference in wheezing score between two groups(P>0.05);3.The total effective rate(92.86%)in treatment group was significantly higher than that in control group(81.48%)(P<0.05).4.The acute episodes number decreased in both groups after treatment(P<0.01),and the number in treatment group was lower than that in control group(P<0.05);5.The cold points in both groups were improved after treatment(P<0.01)and it was lower in treatment group when compared to the control group(P<0.05);6.The lung functions of the two groups were improved after treatment(P<0.01)and the treatment group had an advantage over the control group in improving the lung function(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Both Sanfu-moxibustion combining with liujunzi decoction and liujunzi decoction alone can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of Chronic Bronchitis patients with syndrome of spleen and lung-qi deficiency.They can also improve the patients' lung function and reduce the number of colds and attacks.2.Sanfu-moxibustion combining with liujunzi decoction was better than liujunzi decoction alone in treating the Chronic Bronchitis patients with Syndrome of spleen and lung-qi deficiency.
