ObjectiveTo understand the therapeutic effect and safety of clinical treatment of dysmenorrhea in adolescents,by clinical treatment of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy.MethodsThe research was conducted with simple randomized non-blind investigation method from the period January 2016 to December 2017.Patients from the Nong' s Chinese Medicine Clinic(Olympian Clinic)and students from Secondary 2 to 4 in Ma On Shan Tsung Tsin Secondary School who suffered from dysmenorrhea with more than six months were selected as subjects for investigation.Based on the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria,146 patients who met the criteria were selected according to the diagnostic criteria, inclusion criteria, and exclusion criteria for dysmenorrhea.Through the clinical treatment method, and based on the "Chinese Medicine New Drug Clinical Guidelines" pain scale, visual analogue scale,VAS,multidimensional scoring system,VMS,short-term menstrual distress questionnaire,short-form MDQ to determine the degree of pain, and all data were entered into the computer to establish a database. The database was then statistically analyzed using SPSS 17.0 statistical software.ResultsThere were 163 participants in the research, and 146 participants were effectively analyzed.17 participants were excluded from the statistics because they did not complete the treatment for personal reasons.1.After 3 months of treatment, the three treatment group:auricular plaster therapy, simple moxibution and the combination of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy, the total effective rate was 92%,81%and 96%respectively.2.Three treatment groups before treatment age, menarche age, menstrual duration days, menstrual abdominal pain days, taking painkillers, pain rate, visual analogue scale,VAS,total score of VMS dysmenorrhea,MDQ dysmenorrhea symptoms,no difference Statistically significant, there were comparability between the three groups(P>0.05).3.The three treatment groups had obvious soothing effects when comparing before and after treatment for 1,2,and 3 months in all aspects(including:degree of pain, visual analogue scale,VAS,total score of VMS dysmenorrhea, total score of MDQ dysmenorrhea). And improved symptoms(P<0.05).4.Auricular plaster therapy and simple moxibustion treatment before treatment and treatment for 1,2,3 months and in all aspects of the comparison(including:degree of pain, visual analogue scale,VAS,total score of VMS dysmenorrhea,MDQ total symptoms of dysmenorrhea). Both showed significant differences between the two groups(P<0.05).The results showed that auricular plaster therapy was superior to simple moxibustion treatment.5.There was an increasing trend in pain level from the third month of treatment to the three month post-treatment.The effect of combination of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy was better than that of auricular plaster therapy.6.None of the three groups of participants in this study had any adverse effects during the treatment, indicating that the auricular plaster therapy and simple moxibustion had no side effects and was highly safe.Conclusion1.Auricular plaster therapy, simple moxibution and the combination of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy can effectively improve dysmenorrhea in adolescents, and their effective rates was 92%,81%and 96%respectively.2.The therapeutic effect of the auricular plaster therapy group was superior to that of the simple moxibution treatment group.3.There was no significant difference in the therapeutic effect of auricular plaster therapy and the combination of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy.4.Compared with the long-term efficacy after treatment, the efficacy of the combination of moxibustion and auricular plaster therapy was better than that of auricular plaster therapy.
