Purpose and significanceThis study by comparing the summer treatment of winter disease--Sanfu Plaster for the clinical symptoms,pulmonary function?FEV1%,PEF%?,the number of acute attacks of asthma,the expression of IL-6,IL-10,TNF-?,GSH-PX and MDA of asthma patients before and after exposure to haze.To study the mechanism of Sanfu Plaster in treating bronchial asthma under haze exposure.Thus,a new prevention and treatment method for asthma attack under haze exposure is provided.Research methodIn this study,65 patients with bronchial asthma diagnosed in respiratory outpatient department of our hospital were randomly divided into two groups:33 cases of acupoint application group and 32 cases of control group.The control group was given routine western medicine treatment.The acupoint application group was given sanfu plaster treatment on the basis of the control group.The duration of observation was 6 months.The scores of asthma,cough,wheezing,chest tightness and expectoration,pulmonary function?FEV1%,PEF%?,the number of acute attacks of asthma,serum levels of IL-6,IL-10,TNF-?,GSH-PX and MDA were observed before and after exposure to haze.Result1.After exposure to haze,the scores of asthma,wheezing,chest tightness and expectoration increased,FEV1%and PEF%decreased in the acupoint application group and the control group?P<0.05?;the scores of cough symptom increased in the control group?P<0.05?;the scores of cough in the acupoint application group were not significantly different from those before exposure?P>0.05?.2.After exposure to haze,the levels of IL-6,TNF-?and MDA increased,while the levels of IL-10 decreased in the acupoint application group and the control group?P<0.05?;the activity of GSH-PX in asthmatic patients in the control group decreased with statistical significance?P<0.05?;the activity of GSH-PX in the acupoint application group was no significant change before exposure to haze?P>0.05?.3.After exposure to haze,the scores of asthma,cough,wheezing,chest tightness and expectoration in the acupoint application group were lower than those in the control group,and the FEV1%and PEF%were higher than those in the control group?P<0.05?;the number of asthma attacks in the acupoint application group was lower than that in the control group?P<0.05?.4.After exposure to haze,the levels of IL-6,TNF-?and MDA in the acupoint application group were lower than those in the control group?P<0.05?;while the levels of IL-10 and GSH-PX in the acupoint application group were higher than those in the control group?P<0.05?.Conclusion1.Haze exposure can aggravate asthma,cough,wheezing,chest tightness and expectoration symptoms of asthma patients,and impair pulmonary function.Possibly by increasing the levels of IL-6,TNF-?,and MDA,and reducing the IL-10 level and GSH-PX activity,asthma patients can be stimulated to produce inflammatory reaction and oxidative damage,thereby aggravating asthma attacks.2.Summer treatment of winter diseases--Sanfu Plaster had the effects of promoting qi,removing turbidity and detoxifying.3.Summer treatment of winter diseases--Sanfu Plaster can improve asthma,cough,wheezing,chest tightness and expectoration symptoms of asthma patients after exposure to haze,delay the decline of pulmonary function and reduce the number of attacks of asthma;Possibly by reducing the levels of IL-6,TNF-?,and MDA in the serum of asthmatic patients,increasing the level of IL-10 and GSH-PX activity to inhibit inflammation and reduce oxidative damage.Therefore,it has preventive and therapeutic effect on bronchial asthma under haze exposure. |
