Vaginal myiasis is the prevalent in summer and autumn,and has become the primary harmful disease of female camel,and the Wohlfahrtia Magnifica(W.magnifica)is the only pathogen for this disease.At present,the control of this disease mainly relies on pesticides,and there are no reports on biological control measures of the disease.In this experiment,behavioral and trapping experiments on W.magnifica were carried out around methylheptenone and 1-octen-3-ol and their mixtures of different proportions.At the same time,the volatile pheromones of the W.magnifica were screened and identified by gas chromatography(GC-MS)for the first time.The antennae reaction and behavioral response of W.magnifica to four compounds with different concentrations were detected by gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection(GC-EAD),eletroantennography(EAG)and behavioral experiment,and the effect of volatile pheromone of W.magnifica on W.magnifica was explored.The experiment results of methylheptenone and 1-octen-3-ol showed that the higher the concentrations of both,the stronger the attractivity to the W.magnifica,and a mixture at the ratio of 1:1 could enhance the attractivity to the W.magnifica.In this experiment,the volatile pheromones of the W.magnifica were screened and identified by gas chromatography(GC-MS)for the first time.The antennae reaction and behavioral response of W.magnifica to four compounds with different concentrations were detected by gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection(GC-EAD),eletroantennography(EAG)and behavioral experiment,and the effect of volatile pheromone of W.magnifica on W.magnifica was explored.The antennae reaction and behavioral response of the W.magnifica to four compounds with different concentrations were detected by gas chromatography-electroantennographic detection(GC-EAD),eletroantennography(EAG)and behavioral experiment,so as to understand the influence of the volatile pheromones of W.magnifica on the W.magnifica.Dimethyl phthalate,(R)-(+)-limonene,dipentene and 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene were identified by GC-MS.The results of GC-EAD and EAG showed that the W.magnifica had antennae reaction to the four compounds,and when the concentration of the compound changes,the EAG relative response will also change correspondingly.There was no significant difference in the EAG relative response value between female and male W.magnifica to different concentrations of the same compound,but the EAG relative response value of female W.magnifica to(R)-(+)-limonene and1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene were higher than those of male.The behavioral experiment showed that W.magnifica had behavioral response to four compounds.When the concentration of dimethyl phthalate was 10-1μg/μL,it could repel the W.magnifica;10-1μg/μL of(R)-(+)-limonene had repellent effect on the W.magnifica;10-3μg/μL,10-2μg/μL and 10-1μg/μL of dipentene had repellent effect on female W.magnifica;10-1μg/μL of 1,2,3,4-tetrahydronaphthalene was repellent to male W.magnifica.In this study,it was found that dimethyl phthalate,(R)-(+)-limonene,dipentene and1,2,3,4-tetrahydronphthalene had certain repellent effects on W.magnifica.This study provides a new idea for the biological prevention control of vaginal myiasis in bactrian camels. |
