| Jilin province is a big agricultural province in our country,shoulder heavy responsibilities of ensuring national food security.Under the realistic background of adjusting agricultural production structure,rice is the second largest grain crop in Jilin Province.It is of great significance to measure the rice production efficiency of farmers and analyze the related factors that affect it to ensure adequate supply of rice,promote the development of rice industry in Jilin Province and guarantee the national food security strategy.Firstly,this paper expounds the research background and significance,and summarizes the relevant literature at home and abroad.Secondly,it introduces the concepts related to the research,the theory of peasant household behavior,the theory of optimal factor combination and the theory of return to scale change,which lays the theoretical foundation of this paper.Then the basic situation of rice production in Jilin Province was explained.Finally,the micro data obtained from field research were used to analyze the rice production efficiency and its influencing factors of farmers in Jilin Province.The empirical study is divided into two parts: First,the software DEAP2.1 was used to measure the rice production efficiency of farmers in Jilin Province,and the production efficiency of large,medium and small rice farmers of different scales was compared and analyzed.Second,on the basis of the production efficiency value,Tobit model is used to further analyze the variables that may affect the production efficiency.Finally,according to the conclusions,suggestions and countermeasures were put forward to improve the rice production efficiency of farmers in Jilin Province.This paper mainly concludes the following:(1)The overall rice production efficiency of farmers in Jilin Province is at a high level,and pure technical efficiency is the bottleneck restricting the improvement of rice production efficiency.(2)There are differences in the production efficiency of rice farmers of different sizes.The average efficiency of rice production of both small-scale and large-scale farmers was lower than the average efficiency of the sample farmers,and the average efficiency of medium-scale farmers was higher than the average efficiency of the sample farmers.The rice production efficiency of all three scale farmers is at a high efficiency level,showing a trend of "medium-scale> large-scale >small-scale".(3)The influencing factors and effects of rice production efficiency of different scales are different.There are four factors that significantly affect the overall rice production efficiency of farmers: the number of household labor,the proportion of rice income and the use of conservation tillage technology have a significant positive effect on the rice production efficiency of farmers,and the subsidy amount of rice producers has a significant negative impact on the rice production efficiency of farmers.There are three factors that significantly affect the rice production efficiency of small-scale farmers: the proportion of rice income,the adoption of conservation tillage technology and the amount of rice producer subsidies all positively affect rice production efficiency;There were four factors that significantly affected the rice production efficiency of medium-scale farmers: the number of household labor,the use of conservation tillage technology and the use of soil testing formula fertilization technology had a significant positive effect on the rice production efficiency of medium-scale farmers,and the subsidy amount of rice producers had a significant negative impact on the rice production efficiency of medium-scale farmers.There are two factors that significantly affect the rice production efficiency of large-scale farmers: rice sown area has a significant positive effect on the rice production efficiency of large-scale farmers,while the subsidy amount of rice producers has a significant negative effect.According to the above conclusions,the following suggestions are put forward:(1)Strengthen the management technology level of rice production.Solve the practical problems in the production process of farmers to improve the comprehensive production efficiency of rice.(2)Develop and popularize advanced agricultural technology according to local conditions,increase agricultural output and improve production efficiency.(3)Promote appropriate scale management of rice and give full play to the advantages of scale management.(4)Improve the subsidy system,establish a scientific subsidy system,take into account the prices and costs of agricultural materials and other means of production,and give full play to the role of policy incentives. |
