In recent years,with the continuous promotion of large-scale dairy farming methods in China,large-scale dairy farming mode has become the dominant,improve the efficiency of dairy farming for the development of the dairy industry is of great significance.As a dominant dairy area,Tianjin has 64 large-scale dairy farms with an annual milk production of 550,000 tons and more than 80% of large-scale dairy farms with more than 500 heads by 2020,and large-scale farming has become the dominant mode.Therefore,studying the breeding efficiency of dairy farms of different scales in Tianjin and analyzing their influencing factors will not only provide an important theoretical basis for the development of dairy farming in Tianjin,but also have corresponding reference significance for dairy farming in modern urban agriculture in China.First,on the premise of defining the concepts of dairy industry,pure technical efficiency,and scale efficiency,input-output theory,cost-benefit theory,and economy-of-scale theory were used as the theoretical basis of this study.Secondly,based on reading the literature and discussing with experts,relevant indexes of input-output and influencing factors were determined,and data were obtained from 26 medium-scale and large-scale dairy farms in Tianjin by means of field research phase,and then an evaluation index system of dairy farming efficiency was constructed,and the DEA model was applied to measure the efficiency of dairy farming of different scales in both static and dynamic aspects.In order to investigate the factors affecting the breeding efficiency of dairy farms in Tianjin,an evaluation index system of the factors affecting the dairy breeding efficiency of large-scale farms in Tianjin was further constructed and measured using the Tobit model.Finally,based on the measurement results of the influence factors of the Tobit model,corresponding countermeasure suggestions were proposed to improve the breeding efficiency of dairy farms in Tianjin.The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)The breeding efficiency of large-scale farms in Tianjin is higher overall in 2021.(2)Large-scale farming(>1000 head)in Tianjin can obtain a better input-output ratio and achieve optimal farming efficiency.In the static analysis,the farming efficiency of large-scale ranches in Tianjin is higher than that of medium-scale ranches;in the dynamic analysis,the total factor productivity of large-scale ranches is higher than that of medium-scale ranches.From the factor inputs,the input factor redundancy of large-scale ranches was less than that of medium-scale ranches.(3)In terms of influencing factors,the variables that had a positive significant effect on the technical efficiency of dairy farming mainly included fixed asset depreciation and farm breeding area,while those that had a negative significant effect mainly included age,labor input,other cost input and breeding scale. |
