| In recent years,China’s forestry economy has developed rapidly, with the total output value rising from CNY 6488.604 billion in 2016 to CNY 8676.357 billion in 2021.At the same time, the structure of three industries has also been optimized and adjusted. However, there are still some problems in forest protection and development, such as insufficient forest resources, poor quality of forests, and increasing pressure on forest land protection. To ensure the sustainable development of forestry economy,it is imperative to promote the upgrading of forestry’s industrial structure. As the main driving force of economic growth, the importance of technological change has been emphasized by many scholars. The impact of technological change on economic development is reflected not only in the technological growth rate, but also in the technological direction, that is,biased technological change.China is a vast country with different geographical location, resource structure, economic development level and factor abundance in different regions. Therefore, the development situation of forestry industry, industrial structure, and the direction and deviation of technological change in different regions are also different. The imbalance of spatial development challenges the formulation of forestry development policy. Therefore,in order to promote the coordinated development of our country’s forestry industries,it is imperative to study the influence of forestry’s biased technological change on industrial structure upgrading from the perspective of space. In this paper, based on the theory of biased technological change and industrial structure upgrading, the spatial effect of forestry’s biased technological change on industrial structure upgrading is explored.First, based on the provincial panel data, the DEA-Malmquist index method was used to measure the national and regional forestry’s biased technological change index, and combined with the factor input ratio of adjacent periods, the specific biased direction of Chinese forestry’s technological change was analyzed.Secondly, the improved Thiel index method and industrial structure hierarchy coefficient method were used to measure the rationalization and upgrading of forestry’s industrial structure, and on this basis, the temporal and spatial characteristics were analyzed. At the same time, the spatial correlation test was conducted based on Moran’s I and Moran’s scatter plot to analyze the spatial correlation of rationalization and upgrading of forestry’s industrial structure.Based on the analysis of forestry’s biased technological change and industrial structure upgrading,an appropriate spatial econometric mediating was selected by LM test and LR test, and the model was constructed to analyze the spatial effects of forestry’s biased technological change on industrial structure rationalization and upgrading. Finally,it puts forward some suggestions to promote the upgrading of forestry industry structure and the sustainable development of forestry economy. |
