Abstract/Summary:
The safety of drinking water in rural areas is closely related to the living standards and life safety of rural residents. In the process of implementing the Rural Revitalization Strategy, ensuring the water safety of the people is the basic condition for the smooth implementation of the revitalization strategy.Judging from the current situation of water resources development in rural areas, the current drinking water problem is still serious.People in rural areas still do not have adequate water security. The reason is that due to the limitation of social environment and natural conditions in rural areas, many drinking water projects can not play their own functions.A more common phenomenon is that some drinking water projects choose remote areas with few or no people to live in order to avoid affecting the normal work and rest of residents.Ultimately,it failed to achieve the desired improvement effect on the public’s water use.In view of the current severe situation of rural drinking water safety, based on the analytical framework of public goods theory,YongNing County in NingXia will be selected as the research object, and the current situation and existing problems of rural drinking water safety in YongNing County will be deeply analyzed and elaborated by using literature research methods and field research methods.According to the survey results, the drinking water problem in YongNing County will be optimized. On the basis of combining theory to guide practice and previous scholars’ research,we have formulated feasible optimization plans for the improvement of drinking water safety in rural areas of YongNing County according to local conditions, meeting the drinking water demand of rural residents, and providing academic reference and support for the protection and safe supply of water resources in other counties and towns in China.
